We stayed in Villa 100 , on beachfront which we were so impressed with. It was huge !. Had its own private entrance onto beach right by lagoon , a front open lounge / dining area with roof , that looked out on stunning views of lagoon and beach : no other thatched cottages/ villas either side , so very private. Next to pool . Kitchenette area was well stocked with coffee machine , fridge , freezer , electric plug in hob , basic kitchen equipment. Bedroom was huge , with great air con and also ceiling fans , with very large double shower ensuite and separate toilet. The ambience of the resort is very friendly , all staff in restaurant were lovely . Food is exceptional at night and at breakfast. Options to walk down beach from here to other resort bars if needed. Their Cultural Island Feast with dancing performance & music was incredible . A huge buffet to help yourself from and live music , Polynesian local dancing. We loved staying at Tamaru . The Manager checked on everyone staying which was great customer service. Highly recommend this place .

We loved this small family owned resort with friendly staff and a great location on the beach. We loved the complimentary use of snorkel and goggles (no flippers), the kayaks, the SUPs, and the bikes, which were great because there are no public buses on the island. Complimentary breakfast is amazing with full buffet options as well as an option from the a la carte menu. Rooms are spacious with a large bathroom and walk in shower as well as an outdoor shower, which we loved! The horizon pool was fabulous especially at night watching the stars! We’d definitely stay again.

The whole experience from the time we arrived to when we left. The staff were friendly and fun, very helpful and made sure we had a great time from the moment we were picked up from the airport. The food was delicious especially the breakfast. Being able to snorkel right outside our room was fantastic and it was good snorkelling. We liked how private it was.

They need to address the issue of slippery tiles in the bathroom. They are very dangerous and I suggest they get bath mats.

Tamanu Beach is a quiet, friendly, relaxed place to stay, right on a very swimable beach, and with beautiful views. The restaurant was a very short stroll along the beach, where we enjoyed beautiful meals including Island Night, BBQ Night, and breakfasts which included complementary cooked options for guests. The outdoor shower at our villa was so lovely, we used it instead of the indoor shower. There was a mix up with our puck up time upon arrival at the airport due to us changing flights two days out, but that was airly quickly rectified when the airport greeting ladies realised we didn't have anyone there to meet us. If you're staying on Aitutaki, you must do a lagoon cruise. We were picked up by Kia Orana Cruises ftom Tamanu Beach. It was a fabulous day with 10-12 others, many little islands visited, snorkeling and a beautiful lunch.

Beautiful hotel. loved the layout of the room, great for families with a separate bedroom, lounge area and day beds. Pool is beautiful with nice mountain view. Breakfast inclusions was amazing - hot food included. Island night buffet and show was great!. Beach is beautiful, could watch the sunset. Staff at the front desk were amazing and very helpful trying to help reorganize a day trip on a rainy day.

We didnt have hot water for most of the stay but the ladies at reception eventually fixed it on a Sunday without maintenance help, so thankyou!.

Fantastic place, charming lovely, kind warm hearted staff and absolute joy. Free bananas. Water stations. Free bikes. Great scooter hire a manager who spoke to the guests at breakfast, cared and gave great recommendations. Great breakfast, buffet. Greeted at the airport with a lei by the lovely Aunty Nana.

Bicycles needed a little servicing, but that just added to their charm. No ‘last orders’ in the restaurant, or else might have had another round of you fantastic drinks!

Beautiful accommodations on the beach with snorkeling at the beach in front of the bungalows.

Exceptional service, food and entertainment at their restaurant, clean, wonderful amenities, and very private and relaxing. There is an adult side and a family side which is great to know when you’re booking for a romantic getaway. Staff and the people on the island are very warm and helpful. Take the Teking snorkeling tour if you like to snorkel. It’s exceptional.

We received what was offered, breakfast, paddle boards, kayaks, snorkelling equipment, sea view, swimming pool. Great location, not crazy busy although all accommodations were full, walking distance to other acc restaurants(make sure you book). Scooters for hire if you’d like to go exploring. Airport pickup & drop off. Very happy with our nice quiet stay before we head to Rarotonga.

Staff (especially nanager Erin) very helpful. Breakfast and restaurant definatly improved since our last stay two years ago. Very nice breakfast options - including barista coffee - great buffet on island night, limited but very tasty menu for lunch/dinner. Good snorkel possibilities. Fine and spotless clean beach.

This property has a beautiful outlook! The rooms were good, all situated in a great spot and the bathroom was really nice & I loved that they had an outdoor shower! The pool was also a nice touch! The breakfast was amazing and super generous to have the menu included in the price!! Plenty of ocean toys available for use too, free of charge.
