This is a little hidden gem that’s just a few minutes walk from the ferry port. A lovely old building with charm and a warm welcome. The breakfast is enjoyable, delicious eggs, cheese/meat selection and pancakes with great coffee (thanks Teha) taken on the front patio overlooking the sea. The staff are very happy to help with recommendations for excursions on the island.

The balcony room we had, while simple and comfortable, was very small for the price. Had a great shower and air con though and lovely traditional shutters. On this occasion the balcony was a nice idea rather than something we wanted to use as sadly, room five also gives you a view over the flat roof of the neighbours’ flat - which is not the nicest (being polite here, UK readers can liken it to Steptoe’s yard). If you fancy a balcony room, recommend you book room four… as this also has a less restricted view of the sea. I’m told the hotel is having a refurb over the winter to give it slightly less rooms but with more space in them - it’ll be really exciting to see what comes next for this lovely property.

The room didn't have much space, just enough to get round the bed. There was a small upholstered chair but once you got it out form under the desk there was not enough room to sit in it. The view from the balcony was nice except there was a lot of garbage on the roof opf the house next door, and the balcony was only big enough for two small folding chairs put face to face. So it wasn't really possible for 2 people to sit and relax in the room or on the balcony, and there was no sitting room downstairs, only a few cafe style tables in the small dining room.

Breakfast is extra so did not experience it but the menu looked good. The rooms had good air conditioning but if you open a window it goes off so drying clothes after washing them was difficult. The water pressure in shower was great, nicely appointed rooms with comfy beds, access to a lovely little rooftop terrace where we had wine and snacks every evening. The overall location was perfect with a quick walk to the historic center of the town.

Based on the pictures, we thought we might have a room with a view to the ocean but we were taken to a totally separate building where there were no views of the water. The building the four of us were in was apparently recently remodeled and was nice, but we weren't told this beforehand. It ended up not being a big deal since we had the nice rooftop terrace and were out and about looking at the water wherever we ate or walked. Just be aware that there are two separate buildings.

The room was quite small to be a triple and the small sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable. Additionally we had problems with the bedside plug sockets. Either the USB points didn’t work or the plug points wouldn’t take out European adaptors. One socket in the room did take the European adaptor but this did cause us issues with the three of us trying to charge our phones, in addition to using the kettle, hairdryer etc. The hotel staff did try to help but had no adaptors that would fit.

The location was great, the property was charming. Although a lot of flight of stairs to get to our bedroom which was room 10. Although it was a good workout everytime we got back to the hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. Nice to have chilled water in the room along with local cookie treats. Nice time have big windows to open and allow the Adriatic breeze to flow into the room.

Bathroom in Room 10, the water when you showered would go everywhere. The shower was not designed very well. The kitchenette faucet is not secured down. When you turn on the water too high the faucet will come off the faucet. Also the buffet breakfast is quite expensive.

I don’t want to leave a bad review for this hotel, even though it’s not perfect. The management clearly puts in a lot of effort. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately, the rooms are quite small, especially the bathrooms, but that’s something no one can change – the room size is visible on Booking.com as well. Breakfast is modest but of better quality compared to larger hotels.

The rooms are very small, especially the bathroom, but I understand that nothing can be done about that. Whole-day parking isn’t possible at the hotel, but that’s beyond their control since it’s located right in the historic center. Free parking is available at a nearby shopping center, but you’ll have to walk uphill a bit from there. The balcony floor was made only of wooden planks, so even though we paid extra for a balcony, we didn’t dare to step out onto it the entire stay.

Wonderful location and extremely friendly, helpful staff. I couldn’t fault either. The hotel is an easy walk from the ferry.

I was very disappointed not to be given the room I had booked. I was really looking forward to the character filled, stone walled rooms depicted in the photos. Instead we were “upgraded” to the newly renovated modern attic room which was large with a wonderful bathroom but not what I anticipated. I had paid for a sea view but to see the sea you had to bend down and stand at the velux window. You couldn’t see the sea from the rest of the room. To make matters worse the attic room is on the fourth floor and there are no lifts, not great for an asthmatic. I didn’t come back to the room during the day to avoid the stairs. Saying all this I would come back to the hotel as long as I was guaranteed a room with a full sea view.

Our family of 4 stayed 2 nights here in 2 separate rooms and had a wonderful stay! The staff could not have been nicer (really: everyone we came in contact with was warm and helpful). Our rooms were in 2 different buildings. We knew the room in the older buliding would be small, and it was - but that was expected! The "newer" building was right around the corner and that room was a bit bigger. There was a nice shared outdoor terrace on the top and we hung out there one night. The hotel location was fantastic - so close to the old walled section of town. Korčula Town and the Island are beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay at San Teodoro!

The staff members were very helpful and friendly. The room was small, but attractive. The location across from the sea and just outside of oldtown was very convenient. The bed was comfortable and water pressure in the shower was good.

My friends and I suspected that the word "luxury" in the name was an exageration. It was. I wasn't thrilled to have to walk up 3 stories to our room. The "sea view" was limited. Also, I couldn't sleep with our window open because of street noise and an unpleasant smell. If I come back I would probable opt for a larger room in the annex - without a view, but with access to a very nice roof deck.

We had a truly magical stay at Hotel San Teodoro. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Korčula’s charming old town. Everything is just a short stroll away, from restaurants, cafes to historic landmarks. The room was beautifully designed, blending tradition with modern comfort. Spotlessly clean, quiet, and with a lovely view that made waking up every morning a joy. Breakfast was a real highlight: fresh, delicious and served by the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff, who went out of their way to make us feel at home. Overall, it was a perfect stay and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!
