Dragan was really helpful and went over and above to ensure that we had a good stay.

There was no security in place besides for a small lock on the dorm. Literally anyone could get into the hostel. There needs to be a code at the front door to prevent people getting in. I was sleeping in the dorm and an old man tried to climb in next to me - he managed to get into the property because nothing is locked. An age limit on guests would also be good because there were old men at the hostel which made some inappropriate comments.

Its in a quiet residential area. The whole place us clean and tidy. There is multiple fridge/ freezers for guests to use and a good selection of kitchen equipment. Plenty of outside space to hangout in. If arriving between 9.30 - 18.00 can get a €3 water taxi to Port 9 then a 10 min walk to the hostel. Large supermarket over by Port 9.

Excellent communications from the hostel, really chatty and informative. Even though I arrived late, I knew what was going on and could do the online check in. Absolutely lovely spot and would be a great place to chill for a few days.

I was very badly bitten by mosquitos whilst staying here. I received over 40 bites during the one night I stayed there. This, of course, is not in the hostel but it does color my opinion of my visit.

I've stayed in a room for myself and it was very clean and I had my own bathroom. Just what I needed. Bed was really comfy and ac very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. They let me leave the bag whilst I was away for the day and let me use the phone to sort out some things :)

Location was a bit far from centre and uphill. If you have a car is all good but I had a backpack. I guess it depends how heavy it is. You also have a taxi boat close by though times are uncertain. There were mosquitos and I've been bitten everywhere during the night, maybe having something to keep them away.

The backyard is really nice, as well as balconies on each floor. Also on the first and third floor at least, there were refrigerators, it was really nice to store beverages and some food cold. I also like the garden around the house. The room and entire house were simple or a bit tired at some places, but everything was working and tidy.

It's quite a long distance from the old town and the road goes uphill. Just mind your ability to walk or wish to use a taxi. The kitchen opens at 9am, which for me is too late, for example.

The owner and staff were very pleasant and kind.  The room and the bathroom were clean.  The whole place was well maintained.  There is AC in the room. Walking distance to Port 9 Beach. Walking distance - a few minutes to the local bus stop ( bus can take you to the town and Lumbarda Beach) Walking distance to a big Konzum (grocery shop) - this is actually near Port 9 and the local bus stop. I actually stayed a few days longer then I had originally planned. I would defenitely book it again if back to Korcula. Thank you Dragan, I really appreciate your hospitality. 🙂

The mother was excellent, very nice, and accompanied by a small curious dog that was not intrusive. Overall, it is a wonderful place to stay. The neighborhood was fantastic, conveniently located near town.

I arrived a bit late in the season. So that's not on them. Just go earlier in the year if you want to enjoy all the things the facility offers.

I paid only a few euros more for a double room with ensuite

Saw no one there from staff. Chose a room from keys left there. To be fair, booked early afternoon and went there around 5.30pm without messaging ahead, but equally they never contacted me. Left keys there 9.30am next day and again saw no staff.

I got a private room so it was nice to have my own bathroom and personal space. The kitchen was fully equipped. The outside area was very nice. Lu and Huan the day staff were great and very helpful with recommendations. Super close to Port 9 beach and grocery stores.

There was one particular guy, may have been the manager who was very rude. The hostel is about a 30 minute walk to Old town and the ferry port so if you have luggage it can be a trek to get there.

Easy check-in, simple rules, and lights off at 11 pm. The host Dragan and the other guests are always around for a fun conversation.

Elementary facilities, no bells and whistles.
