Aminess Hotels has purchased the resort since our last visit. Kudos for their upgrades, and the indoor pool refurbish was spectacular! We spent almost a week in May. The reason we returned to Croatia was specifically to be at the Marco Polo and soak in the scenery, changing colors and history again. The Manager, Marina Lovrincevid, was wonderful with the guests, and her team based supervision of the staff. She is an Aminess company gem! Also special thanks to the wonderful staff we interacted with daily, who helped us in every way: Dragan, Emma, Nik, Monika and Yellena. The beds and food are great. The view is imprinted on us forever. If we can ever make it back to Croatia, it will be to return to the Marco Polo. Thanks so much, Suellen and Rick Carroll

The location of the hotel is excellent - conveniently situated near the old town, yet pleasantly uncrowded. The staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. The buffet was a highlight, with fresh, flavorful food prepared using seasonal ingredients. We never found anything lacking. The salad bar offered a wide variety, and every night we enjoyed delicious fish, multiple meat options, plenty of vegetables, and other well-prepared side dishes. While some reviews mention that the hotel could use a renovation, I believe it delivers exactly what it promises. The room, as well as the rest of the hotel, was impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable stay.

Our week at Hotel Marco Polo by Aminess Korčula was truly one of the best of our lives, and we can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the incredible staff treated us so wonderfully that we felt completely spoiled. Their attentiveness and warmth made our stay feel incredibly special. The breakfast and dinner buffets were nothing short of amazing, offering a delicious and varied selection that we looked forward to every day. Our room boasted a breathtaking seaside view, which was the perfect backdrop for our mornings and evenings. We also thoroughly enjoyed the hotel pool and the excellent pool service, making for relaxing afternoons. The location is absolutely amazing, just a few steps from a beautiful beach. Perched slightly on a hill, the hotel offers a stunning view over Korčula Old Town, creating a truly picturesque setting. We left feeling completely refreshed and already dreaming of our next visit. The ladies at the front desk were SO lovely, accommodating, and warm. I want to say Melissa and Melanie? (I may be a little off of names, but close). same with the housekeeping staff! the view and the rooms were so lovely, excellent location.

The bar staff was a little rough, they told us they didnt serve food then I went outside and asked another guest where she got her food and she said the bar, so then they let me order. very strange. And the pool was a little dirty, but maybe I was just affected by the family of four coughing and sneezing for 30 minutes into the pool while they played a game....with teenage kids, not little kids.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at your wonderful hotel, and we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Special thanks go to Marina, the hotel director, whose helpfulness, attentiveness, and sincere desire to make our stay truly memorable were evident every step of the way. Her personal touch added a warmth that set this place apart. We were also deeply impressed by the reception team. Monika brought such lively energy and joy to every interaction, always ready with a warm smile and helpful advice. Vedra was equally fantastic, her calm professionalism and thoughtful assistance made everything easier and more comfortable for us. Both contributed greatly to the warm and friendly atmosphere that defines your hotel. The location of the hotel is ideal, peaceful and charming, with easy access to both the town and the beach, allowing us to enjoy the best of both worlds without the need for transport. One of the highlights of our stay was, without a doubt, the meals. We extend our compliments to the chef for preparing such excellent homestyle Croatian cuisine, every dish was fresh, flavorful, and comforting, showcasing the best of local culinary traditions. In short, everything from the people to the place, the food to the atmosphere, contributed to a truly exceptional stay. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality, we look forward to returning soon.

Our only regret is that we didn’t spend more time at the hotel and exploring the beauty of the island.

The hotel and facilities were spotlessly clean at all times. The pool and its spectacular view was a highlight, also the short pleasant walk into the old town. The staff from the moment we arrived (thank you Franco) could not have been more helpful or friendly, their small gestures to ensure our comfort and enjoyment are too many to mention. To be greeted by the manager on arrival with a thoughtful note in our room and a big smile each day when we saw her around the hotel (which was often)was appreciated. Clearly this is a very well managed hotel and a credit to the Aminess group.

The hotel manager, Marina, has her staff ready to go beyond expectations to ensure that guests are happy. For example, staff noticed that it was my wife's birthday and we received a bottle of delicious Korcula red wine and a nice birthday note from Marina. One night when the hotel had cake out to share with guests and we were already full from dinner and about to walk into Korcula Old Town, staff delivered 3 pieces of cake to our room for our return later that evening. We also received a small parting gift on checkout -- activity books for our son and a water bottle. Oh yes, the manager also granted us a late checkout upon our request, which we greatly appreciated. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful and tasty, with a good variety of options - seafood, meat, and vegetarian for dinner, (my son was especially happy to try the shark fish!) with a good salad bar as well, and plenty of options also for breakfast. The hotel has a nice outdoor pool, with a good view over the sea and Korcula old town. As it was early May, we ended up swimming in the indoor pool, which was heated and nice, then sitting outside by the outdoor pool between swims. The hotel is in close proximity to Korcula Old Town, less than 10 minutes walking next to the sea.

The one thing that I would recommend the hotel change is the availability of drinks at dinner. Since self-service juice, water, coffee, and tea are available for breakfast, it feels a little strange that you do not have access to these at dinner. I can understand the hotel charging for alcoholic beverages, but at least let us get our own water. To be clear, water was available at no charge at dinner, but you just needed to wait for the waitstaff to come around and bring it to you.

Amazing service - staff fabulous and welcoming They go above and beyond- little things that other hotels overlook

My two daughters and I spent several days at the Marko Polo Hotel in Korcula in July 2024. It was perfect in every way and an ideal location to see and do all that we had on our list. The staff was pleasant and helpful, the room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and clean, the pool area was clean and quiet with plenty of chairs and umbrellas, and the restaurant was wonderful with many options from which to choose. We loved the location, which made walking to and from restaurants, historic sites, beaches and shops easy and convenient. We will most definitely stay here the next time we visit Korcula, as well as recommend it to friends and family traveling to this destination. We recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Korcula for work or pleasure, for a family or friend trip, or for a romantic getaway. A++ all around!
