Right next to a beautiful beach with clean sea, lots of natural shade. The food was really good, I loved it. It's a very quiet place, so if you're looking for a peaceful vacation, you're in the right place. No parties, no loud music. Lots of families with little kids tho, which I do not mind. Parking was free, just a few minutes away from the hotel, and very easy to find.

The room (514) was old, and the balcony wasn't nice at all. The third bed (for our 14yo son) was almost impossible to sleep on, but the kid didn't complain so I decided to let it go. Avoid this room.

Beach proximity

Variety of lunch menu. Too much of pork meat menu leaving no meat options for people not eating pork meat.

We liked the price! Very good value for half board. Decent sized room with a balcony overlooking a superb view out to sea, mountains etc. Food was varied each day with a good selection. A lovely quiet place to stay with interesting houses and churches. No need for a car as ferry is available from Ploce and there are some easy walks especially along the coastal paths.

We think the hotel should restrict smoking on balconies. Also, because they get school parties, there should be a curfew after say 10 pm. Food was good but could be hotter. How about having a microwave oven for use by guests. There's a sandwich maker but no toaster. Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. There's a small charge to have a mini fridge in the room.

We have stayed at Faraon before and find it quite comfortable for our needs. The young man on reception was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I don't recall his name, unfortunately, but he was great and always remembered our room without us having to tell him. Very impressive.

Same comment as many have made - the stairs are a real negative. If a lift can't be retrofitted indoors, surely part of the main steps from the street to reception could be allocated to a ramp to wheel up suitcases?

When we arrived the first thing was the little, secluded at that time beach right in front of the hotel. It was beautiful. Hotel looks old but was refreshed and is really ok. Staff super friendly! Mid May so not many people. Pool area clean and neat. Avarage hotel like food but fresh in the buffets. Rooms small, no kettle or special equipment but just what you need to sleep. Fantastic value for the price! There's a ferry literally a few minutes walk from the hotel that will take you for a gew Euros across the harbour.

Everything was fine. People with mobility issues might find the amount of stairs difficult.

My stay was with my 6-year-old daughter, and the staff was fantastic. Everyone—from the reception to the bar, restaurant, and housekeeping—was so friendly and helpful. I have traveled a lot, both privately and for work, and have stayed at many luxury hotels, but this hotel has something special—a warm, family-like, and helpful culture. I have stayed here before and will definitely be back again! :)

Even though there’s no elevator, it’s great exercise after enjoying the amazing food! However, assistance with bags would be appreciated, especially when traveling alone with a child.

The location was perfect right on the beach. We went to the beach and the pool. The pool was also great and deep! There were lots of sun loungers even after getting there late afternoon. The room had an amazing view from the balcony. Staff are friendly and assisted us after making an error on booking.com Few nice restaurants a few minutes walk away along the front. The sunset was amazing here. Aircon worked well.

The breakfast wasn’t the best but lots of choice. The American pancakes cooked fresh were good though! Parking at the front was full but there was more parking a minute away. Old wooden patio doors that didn’t lock properly but we felt safe so not too much of an issue. Rooms are dated

Well positioned hotel and fabulous view on the sea. Very kind staff especially at the reception. Not much variety for the food but tasty and well prepared.

Parking for the hotel was a few minutes walk from the hotel and not easy to reach during high summer temperatures. Not very friendly for people with mobility issue as there is no elevator in the hotel and there are mamy stairs to walk if your room is at the sevond floor.

I appreciated the exceptional position of the hotel on the seafront and its proximity to the beach. The spacious rooms were very comfortable. The architecture of the hotel dates back to the times of the former Yugoslavia, which, given my age, contributed to a positive sentiment.

Simply nothing made a negative impression. I hope that I will come again once I visit this part of the Croatian coast.
