Right on the seafront. You fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves. If you prefer not to keep the windows open, there’s an efficient climate control system in the room. Excellent restaurant. Delicious and hearty meals. Great drinks, wine, and cocktails. Both the bar and kitchen work perfectly. All staff members (without exception) were kind and welcoming. Everyone smiles, greets you every time they see you, and wishes you a good day — it feels genuinely warm. If you're coming by car, be sure to request a parking spot. As far as we understood, the hotel has two parking areas — one right next to the hotel and another a bit farther away. We were lucky to park just a few steps from the entrance. A day before our arrival, someone from the hotel contacted us themselves and asked if we needed parking. The rooms are new, clean, stylish, and very pleasant. Fresh flowers in the room, welcome drinks upon arrival. The bathroom is spacious, with lots of towels and hygiene products. Everything was spotless and beautifully arranged. Huge mirror. Plenty of closet space and hangers. There’s also a minibar and fridge. What you see in the hotel photos is exactly what you get. The breakfast is luxurious. A wide selection, but what impressed us most was how beautifully everything was presented. Big kudos to the chefs! You can also order a freshly made omelet or fried eggs — they’ll bring it right to your table. We often travel with our cat, so we were pleased that pets are easily accommodated here. The pet fee is symbolic — just €10 per night. Food from the restaurant, pet fees, and other extras are simply added to your final bill, which you pay at checkout. Super convenient. Great soundproofing. The hotel was fully booked during our stay, but we didn’t hear a single sound through the walls. With the balcony door closed, the room was completely quiet.

Since there’s a bar and a restaurant (where smoking is allowed) right below the sea-facing windows, the smell of cigarettes would occasionally drift into the room. We don’t smoke and would have preferred to smell more of the sea breeze rather than tobacco. That said, we understand that people enjoy a glass of wine and a cigarette — it didn’t bother us too much. Plus, the restaurant closes around 10 or 11 p.m., and after that everything quiets down — you can open the balcony door wide and just enjoy the evening air.

Our stay at Hotel Rivalmare was simply amazing! Beautiful, well-maintained rooms with a fantastic view directly of the sea, a rich breakfast buffet, and a perfect location in Novigrad with a beautiful beach just a few minutes' walk away. The charming town center is also only a 5-minute walk, yet it’s pleasantly quiet in the evenings when it’s time to sleep. Be sure to try the pan-fried branzino at the hotel’s restaurant, Libecchio — absolutely delicious! We would especially like to thank the kind service manager Pero and his extremely friendly and attentive team. Every special request was fulfilled immediately — it couldn’t have been faster :) Thank you! We truly enjoyed our stay. We warmly recommend this beautiful hotel with its cosy and family-like atmosphere — it far exceeded our expectations.

Easy access - very friendly staff members - all speak English, german, Italian. Has elevator. Hotel is peaceful but in the center. You can walk to the city. The food is excellent compliments to the chef. It’s also pet friendly they also offer dog blanket the beach is easy access infront the hotel. Water is clean. They have their own sunbeds

The whole staff was amazing and helpful, this hotel is really pet friendly and we loved the restaurant. We definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a relaxing vacation. We will definitely be coming back.

One of the airtechnic units was extremly noisy, during sleeping hours. The hotel management the situation fairly and professionally next morning.

The location was excellent. Right next to the beach and a very short walk to the center of town. The room was clean. The WiFi was good. The staff were polite and ready to help.

There were insufficient car parking spaces at the hotel. The hotel offered car parking which required walking for about 15 minutes. The mattress was very good but the pillows were not so good. One pillow was not high enough, two pillows were too high. The pillows compressed too much. The breakfast was fine but every morning we had to ask for breakfast bowls for cereal.
