In most hotels, the hotel website or the booking.com profile shows nice photos, and the reality isn't quite that nice. Hotel Olympionik is actually much nicer than the photos suggest. The location is convenient - walking distance to the train station, the bus station is next door, and it's only ten minutes on foot into the beautiful old town of Melnik. The room was spacious, with a large working desk and a clothes cabinet and a large bathroom. The design is a bit 70/80s, but everything is clean and works. Even though the hotel is on a big street, it's quiet during the night. On the back side one has a view on tennis courts and greenery behind that.

Decent location, with a nice resturant. The facilities are extensive, and as advertised. Very clean and spacious accomodations. We did have a translation program, however everyone spoke English very well. We originally chose this location due to it proximity to Prague, via train. It is a nice, affordable choice with a large outdoor patio. The property has a lovely wedding venue which we noticed as there was a wedding reception. With the patio and the music from the receiption, it was a bit like a free concert. We quite enjoied the experience.

It is located on a very busy street. Be prepared to wait a bit to get into the parking lot. We did find a longer, alternate route to get to the hotel which made it easier.

The hotel is located next to the bus terminal and in 10min walk from the train station and Melnik Old City Center. Our room was quite big and very quiet as oriented to the tennis courts. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet offered a good choice. There is also a restaurant with bar.

Strategically located between railway station, bus station and town centre. Friendly and very helpful staff, nice restaurant and apparently good fitness and sporting facilities, though we did not take advantage of these.

Advice on opening windows would have been helpful. Open the one without the fly-screen and you will get bitten.

Very helpful staff. She immediately resolved a minor issue at the beginning and they took good care of us throughout our stay. A good place for a cycling holiday, as they are close to the cycle path. Food perfect.

Comfortable beds, nice restaurant in hotel building. There are locked bike storages behind the hotel.

We had complications at check-in, but finally solved.

The location of the hotel is perfect. You can reach the center of the town in several minutes on foot. Even without additionally asking we got a room with a bathroom and a separate restroom, as well as a separate sitting room. The breakfast was quite modest, designated for big groups of tourists but it was OK for one night stay.

It was a difficult to talk to the staff in English at the reception, but everything else was OK.
