Eleonora Romantic Hotel – Tábor Unforgettable stay! Giovanni, the hotel director, welcomed us with warmth, generosity, and great tips for exploring beautiful Tábor. The hotel is spotless, fragrant, and perfectly maintained, with super-comfy beds and a relaxing atmosphere. Delicious beakfast on the porch with stunning river views was a daily highlight, and enjoying a wonderful local beer there at sunset was pure magic. Every detail was perfect — we can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful setting, although outside of the town. Nice continental breakfast. Bonus is that it has a restaurant but closes early. Has a lift. Friendly staff. Comfy bed. Quiet & peaceful.

The room attached to the booking.com booking didn’t have a shower (bath only). And the bathroom floor tiles were cracked. Decor is outdated. We upgraded spending an extra 300 Czk to get a room facing the river and a shower in the bathroom. The shower cubicle was very very small but fortunately usable. I have mobility problems so can’t use a bath.

The location right on the river and on the walking path was perfect for us as we were in the Tabor region primarily to walk. We also found it convenient to be away from the centre of town, even though this meant walking up into town in the evening! The staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming and the care they take of the hotel and the guests makes it a special place to stay.

There was literally nothing we didn't like.

Firstly the location is stunning, and the building is very attractive and fits well in its surroundings. Immediately we felt at peace with the sound of birds and the running water. The staff, particularly John, were very helpful and accommodating. We had a young toddler with us and they were very understanding which we are incredibly grateful for. The hotel has a very relaxed, comfortable vibe. I loved the decorations and layout. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms perfectly sized. The outdoor spaces were beautiful and the patio area near our room was perfect for us.

A refreshment station in the room would have been nice.

The rooms were spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and I had enough space for my clothes and toiletries. The food in the restaurant was excellent, the staff amazing and super nice and welcoming and helpful. I stayed here two nights with my dog, our room had a river view and balcony and I wish I had booked longer. You can go on nice walks along the river, the town can be visited easily by foot (if you’re able bodied, there are stairs and uphill walking on uneven terrain). I got great recommendations from the staff about dishes in the restaurant and also activities. Parking was free and right in front of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again and hope I can come back soon

No air conditioning so kept the balcony windows open but had to be careful of mosquitoes.no water or coffee in the room.breakfast was adequate.

Staff and reception were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast offered good choices. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening which was very good. Rooms were very comfortable and we had a great view of the river. I would definitely stay here again.

The only criticism I have would be that the website posting indicates "20 minutes to city centre". Maybe by car it is 20 minutes, but it was a very long walk - down the road to a bridge and then up numerous steep stairs to the city centre. It was a cold and damp day so the stairs were a bit tricky after a long day.

Amazing place, terrace and several rooms overlooking the river, tasty dinner and breakfast, comfy room, hot water with good pressure :) Short (but steep!) walk to the town center, pleasant walk option along the river, with a water spring nearby

Beautiful location by the river with view on Tabor and its surroundings. Our room with the river view was clean and considering 3-star standard of the hotel there was all we needed. Receptionist was really nice and did an exceptional job. Breakfast were ok.

Price could be lower (we paid about 130 EUR for one night, incl. fee for our dog and local tax), but otherwise nothing really to complain about. Small remark: city center is about 15-20 min walking distance with last 5-7 minutes walking to a steep hill (or taking stairs). However, if you don't mind a bit of "excercising" the walk by the river is nice.
