Beautiful, interesting place - the palace itself is worth seeing and the neighborhood is cute (Valtice is a pretty, small town). We stayed there for only one night while travelling, but we enjoyed walking around the palace in the morning. Our room was quite basic, but very clean and moody. The staff at the reception was very nice and helpful. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, and despite long waiting and a few minor order mistakes, we really enjoyed it. Local wine is great, and the food was nice too. The breakfast was exceptional, though.

Classical building and atmosphere - you really feel like a count in your castle. Room's size is good and has a useful layout (the bath is huge).

No AC (probably because its a historical building). The room faced the inner courtyard which was noisy at the morning. The engine of the room's minibar was loud at night. Parking system is bad and expensive compared to own fares of the city.

BEAUTIFUL! We had a lovely view from our room of the central courtyard. Clean room, good size, pretty comfortable beds. Good parking situation. Located in a small town, with a few nice places to eat and drink (especially if you like wine). Breakfast was delicious, with lots of good options and a nice dining room (with an option to sit outside).

Only problem was the shower. The shower door was not sealed to the wall properly which meant that we flooded the entire bathroom every time we showered. Hopefully this is fixed soon.

Fantastic breakfast. The room was clean and basic but sufficient (we chose the budget room, for one night on the road from Italy). Very kind staff. Heating was on, as it was a cold night. Great castle grounds/public park for a walk with the dog.

Maybe the cosmetics could include a shampoo, beyond just soap, in the bathroom.

An absolutely superb location in the heart of a wondrous town! We thoroughly enjoyed the off-season charm of this prime tourist destination. It felt like we had all the amenities to ourselves, although the place was far from deserted. All the plusses minus the usual summer crowds = win-win!

As a married couple we would have appreciated a double bed, but we made do ;-)

The position of the castle on the peacefull Moravian Hills, the colors of the fall in the castle gardens and the surrounding woods, the clean room, the high beds which made you feel like Andersen's princess on the pea without a pea, the diversity of the breakfast and all the serene atmosphere of the village. Have to come back and spend more time here.

Nothing to dislike

Located right in the historic castle, does not get any better. Very nice and modern interior in bar, restaurant, reception area. Room comfortable with view to park. Great and varied breakfast with plenty of choices. Very good restaurant. Kind staff at reception, bar and in restaurant. Very nice terrace (which we could not use owing to rain). Locked storage room to park bicycle.

Friendly and helpful receptionists, hotel parking, nice locality.

Arrogancy of some members of the staff of the restaurant Zlata Terasa, I noticed that German speaking guests are served with hot fresh bakery, for the rest of guests they don't mind turning off the coffee machine just in front of you.

The room was great and imaculately clean and all the staff were really friendly and helpfull. The hotel restaurant was super and the evening meal was one of the best meals I have had for a long time. Traditional but with some nice modern touches. Breakfast was perfect,

I love the place, it's our 2nd time there and with pleasure we will come back again. Very unique and beautiful place, in special location, well taken care of with delicious food in the restaurant
