Excellent location for transport... To other cities and local (Rapid buses and tourist buses). I seemed to have stumbled on an offer price... By far the best deal in 6 months across South America...

All the negative comments in other reviews are true so book somewhere else if they bother you. Curitiba has homeless people (you get what you vote for) Reception staff (I wouldn't be smiling with some of their customers, and minimum wage) Rooms a little dark and not spotless clean. (go and explore the city)

Location next to the bus station and mercado, but a bit far from the city centre and other things in curitiba. Good breakfast.

The area indeed has some homeless people around, but during the day it's completely safe as there are plenty of people because of the mercado. During the night feels a bit less safe thoguh, i recommend taking uber to the hotel at the nighttime. The room furniture is a bit old indeed and old air conditioning that makes noise, but overall no problems.

great location, breakfast and shower

The main concern was that the key card didn't work the first time which made us go downstairs to the reception. Then we entered the room, and there was a strong smoking smell in the room, so we needed to go downstairs once more to report. Other minor things: there is no shampoo and the tv had only a few channels.

Location. It is right across the Mercado Municipal and the main bus station. Good breakfast here too. Single room is big, has fridge and AC with cooling and heating. The shower is big too. It’s great value for what you pay for. Very nice staff. They even let me leave my bags for the day as my bus was leaving midnight.

Hotel is near the main bus stand. City tour bus has a stop right in front. Good options for breakfast.

Room needs to be renovated. Only the bed was in good condition. Doors were getting stuck all the time. Had to try 5-6 times to open the door with key. Also , I was expecting shampoo in the washroom.

The receptionist allowed me to check-in early. The breakfast had a variety of options and there was a lot of seating. The wifi-was great. The room was a good size, and the windows were able to be opened. The environment was quiet and calm. Great location next to Mercado Municipal and the rodoviaria.

The male receptionists had a tendency to come off dismissive. The toilet paper was placed far from the toilet. There seemed to be a miscommunication about the duration of my stay among staff.

Simple place but excellent staff and value for the money I have used the private car par I'll definitely return back... highly recommended!!!

Curitiba is a cold City, and the hotel provided extra blankets, and also the aircon had heating mode. Good location opposite the market. Good value for money.

The hotel needs a refurb. The curtains in the room were falling down. Breakfast basic.

It was clean and very comfortable.

The keys was not working properly but the receptionist changed it without problem and they were kind.

I had great experience during my stay at Rate Rede Andrade Mercado Hotel. It surrounded by a big market with a food court. The area is vibrant and full of small markets, couple blocks to downtown, shopping mall and the main bus station.

The door is not sound proof, can hear guests in the hallway and other close their doors loudly, the windows and bathroom are facing each other and lack of privacy.
