We loved everything

There was nothing not to like . The hotel is in a fantastic spot. The views are absolutely spectacular. Best view of Dal Lake , quite peaceful after a day of visiting tourist attractions. The service here is top-notch. The team really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. They were always available to offer recommendations, answer questions, or just have a quick chat, which made us feel right at home. The staff here is the best part. They’re not only professional but also genuinely nice and down-to-earth. Everyone I interacted with, from the front desk to housekeeping, was polite and respectful. Overall, I had a fantastic stay. If you’re looking for a place with a great vibe, super helpful staff, and a prime location, this is it. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

Literally nothing

Very beautiful, with amazing views, extremely clean, wonderful staff. Food was also amazing and so was the staff. Nothing was too much to ask for. Davinder was extremely helpful as my sister was a bit unwell. Kept asking what they could make for her, very nice! Unfortunately only a one night stay but would have loved to have stayed longer!

Nothing really!! Just would have been nice if there was a bar in the hotel. This was the only thing missing, otherwise 100% amazing!

Everything was amazing!! Restaurant and staff especially Davinder, he was superb and so accommodating. Can't thank him enough, as one of my sister was a little poorly and nothing was too much! Restaurant, food, service was outstanding!

Generally there wasn't a thing we didn't like! The reason for the two lower marks above was that we would expect a bar as a facility and than value for money to!! Otherwise all top marks!!

Beautiful views, fantastically appointed rooms and great service. Stunning bathroom, really comfortable bed and a nice balcony overlooking the Tal Lake.

I believe I was overcharged compared to the original booking.com price. However did not have energy to argue.

Exceptional & Excellent...we stayed for our Valentine's celebrations...Beautiful Property with Amazing views of Dal Lake..Staff is super friendly specially F&B manager Mr Devinder,, he looked after us & met our expectations regarding all the arrangements...Food was awesome with courteous staff Danish & OS always there...will definitely love to come back & super soon..10/10 score for Taj Dal view Srinagar...

The location is excellent, as was the service. Starting with the front desk staff- arzoo and muskaan, as well as Nityanjay who went out of their way to get us the room we had paid for on Booking. Com. They had even decorated the room for our anniversary and surprised us with a cake and balloons. The food is superb and the restaurant staff were excellent as well. Every need of ours was attended to. Special mention for Ranvijay, Lokesh, Alamgeer, Suraj, chef Surjit and Amir Bhatt. Thank you all for making our visit so special. This is the place to go to for a special occasion.

It would be nice if they provided some entertainment and activities for the guests.

This property truly has the most beautiful view in Kashmir. Excellent hotel on the top of a cliff overlooking mountains and dal lake of course. Wonderful hotel concierge who made plans for us basically. Probably the only place I would stay in around dal lake. Magical stay ! Thank you Ather!

I would have liked to see more dining options perhaps, and slightly more updated rooms, but that didn’t take away from the natural beauty of this place.

Great location and friendly staff. Room was great, a big size and a superb view over the lake. Excursions were made easy with the hotel staff and we had a lovely time.

It's a dry hotel i.e. no alcohol. It made no difference to me, but it's worth knowing just in case.

The location of the the hotel overlooking the Dal Lake & close to the botanical and tulip gardens is exceptional. The views are stunning and most touristy and important building like the Hazratbal Shrine, the Shankracharya temple, the Pari Mahal, the Tulip Garden, and Botanical Gardens is wonderful.

The minibar is empty except for a couple of bottles of water
