We've always stayed with Mercure whenever we visited Jakarta. The location is very convenient, mall right beside it, Batavia PIK and PIK2 are just about 5-10mins car ride away. Lots of eateries around the hotel. The breakfast in the hotel has improved since our last visit about a year ago. I was definitely blown away by the small personalised bday celebration prepared by the FD staffs. Totally sweet and unexpected!

The power and USB sockets in the room need to be replaced. We had difficulty plugging in our travel converter into the power socket (one of our charger got damaged because of it), and the USB sockets were of no use as there wasn't any power coming out of them at all.

This is a world class hotel in a prime location close to the sea and associated with a shopping mall which was convenient for daily needs. The staff were unfailingly helpful and the restaurant was excellent both as regards food and the modern oriental style of decoration. While the hotel is expensive by local standards it is reasonable on a European budget

Very helpful and friendly staff, kind hospitality, good location (with mall, fresh market and golf island close), excellent breakfast, nice and clean pool and fitness. Will definitively come again!

Everything fine. No critics, just suggestion: it would be good to have a proper changing room for the pool (not just toilet and shower), the fitness room is quite well equiped, though a bit small (and maybe some more space for women's sports, too, like for gym and yoga.

I arrived slightly after 10am and was given the King Suite room immediately since they have the availability, despite their check-in time being after 2pm. Most hotels i went to wouldn't do that even if they have ready rooms and would make guests wait till at least noon time, so i really appreciated being given the room that early as it was totally unexpected. The reception staff was very friendly (forgot to get his name), room was spacious & clean as expected of a King Suite, welcome fruits and chocolate platters in the room, breakfast was yummy, my boy and hubby managed to have some fun at the pool, mall connected to hotel, food street right beside the hotel, taxis always waiting infront of hotel.

The room rate maybe a tad high since location is not in the central of Jakarta but its a suite, cheaper than Swissotel and I guess its one of the very few good hotels in the area so i guess it kinda made up for it.

Location was very strategic, adjacent to PIK AVENUE mall with pass through in the hotel lobby. The entire Pantai Indah Kapur seems to be an affluent area so very safe in general.

Rooms are a bit small for the price you’re paying, however based on the location and the purpose of our visit (attending a course) convenience was more important than value for money so I would say this could be improved but it is fair. Towel rack in the bathroom was loose, shower stall was honestly quite cramped for this class of hotel, there’s no bath tub (for the price paid I somewhat expect a bathtub) and for some reason the water from the pipes smelled very strongly of iron.

Breakfast buffet was served in the room next to the patio / pool - room had everything you could want and staff were very helpful and kind - will return again - even managed to get a bit of sun by the pool

Conditioner for my hair would have been nice but not essential for the couple of days I stayed

Being connected to the mall there are a lot of food choices and other shopping. Other then the mall, it is close by to other food restaurants areas. Plenty of options.

It is understaffed. Restaurant waiting time was slow when dined there. Some requests were not followed up, despite saying they will attend to it.

Staff were nice and welcoming. Breakfast was good, lots of different kinds of food and drinks. It is attached to the PIK Avenue Mall, makes it very convenient. Easy access to lots of restaurants and places to see/ shop.

Very convenient location with attached mall. No lack of food choices or getting basic amenities. Very close to airport as well, maximum of 30mins travel between airport and hotel (usually)

The aircon seems to be perpetually cold regardless of temperature setting. For the record, i had changed the temperature to 28 degrees and it still felt like winter in there. Had to turn it off sometimes in order to warm up the room

Clean rooms, comfy beds, several USB ports, huge continental and Asian breakfast buffet, well equipped gym, outdoor pool & garden space on an open roof terrace but most of all very friendly and helpful staff, will stay here if returning to Jakarta again.
