Beautiful property and staff very friendly

Whilst I understand Bodrum is often renown as Turkey’s destination for the rich and famous, the mark up on prices is too excessive. A Corona from the hotel bar was AU$18 when in the remainder of Turkey is would be approx AU$6 Also, we are in 2024 and no smart tvs in the rooms. Not to mention the standard issues tv did not pick up all of the local terrestrial channels. I understand you don’t pay to stay in the room to watch tv but you do need some downtime. The wifi was also horrible in our room which was towards the end of the building. Hotel at this price point should have the best.

We spent 6 days at this amazing resort. From the minute we stepped through the door until we checked out the service, atmosphere and facilities were impeccable. Breakfast buffet had to be seen to be believed. I have not seen anything so abundan, fresh and delicious. Our room was beautifully appointed and clean. We dined at 2 of the resort restaurants and the food at both the Japanese Itsumi and Beeves steak restaurant were top notch. Then there was the beach club. The staff very attentive and friendly. Plenty of sunbeds to choose from. A nice surprise was a movie night on the board walk free to guests with a bag of popcorn. This was fun and unexpected. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxury experience in Gündoğan Bodrum.

There was nothing not to like.

the most I liked was the team of customer service ( Margret, the 2 sisters Icem and Biden ( the spelling could be wrong ) and I forgot her hame the lady from Kazakhstan , the 4 of them made every possible effort to look up for my restaurants choices and to recommend the best ,they are very pleasant , also Ali at the front office and Irkan, the facility is great with amazing view from the room, breakfast is very good but slow service, I'll rate the hotel 10 because of the team I mentioned above

the price is very high but I guess all of Bodrum is very expensive, the AC in the room (I Was in 327) was barely acceptable ,some of the staff have a very poor English level ( even in the Restaurant )

The sense of hospitality among staff was exceptional; They were attentive and intuitive in recognizing my needs which something I value when I stay at a hotel. Also room upgrad to spacious one with a beautiful sea view allivated my experience as a guest. The free breakfast at Lotus resturant was beyond what I normally experience as “ breakfast included to room”, this was well prepared dishes that are diverse and delicious!

I would say the air condition in my room was not clear to adjust but it didn’t impact my comfort as the weather was not that hot. Also, I’m aware that I came during the off-season period so two restaurants were closed.

Experience in our hotel was fantastic. It has started with a welcoming drink while they carry our luggages to our room. They handle all the check in procedures while we sit and watch wonderful bay view. Our room includes all we need, water, nespresso, herbal teas, medical and dental kits etc. It was our first time in Gundogan bay, it is a natural wonder and the cape bodrum otel was in a good location in bay with a crystal clean water. We swim with various kind of fish :) There is pedesterian road to reach Gundogan easily to discover. The otels beach is also nice, soft sunbeds, delicious food and the most important thing is staff was kind and professional. When you lay down and push a button a personal come to take order in minutes. We also try Itsumi sushi Restaurant that i know that Restaurant from Istanbul. The sushi and wine was wonderful. As a result, nice views, a luxury beach, best quality food and perfect staff make our holiday a remarkable memory.

Nothing.

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed like a queen! The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, they even offered me a complimentary cocktail while they handled my check in, which made me feel instantly relaxed and pampered. It was honestly one of the best experiences l've ever had. The room was a dream, I had every ring doubled to myself: a separate toilet, shower room, spacious wardrobes... the setup was luxurious and thoughtfully designed. The food was absolutely delicious, and the cozy, romantic atmosphere made it feel like the perfect birthday escape. The balcony was brilliant, a peaceful spot to unwind and soak in the view. Every single staff member I encountered went above and beyond to make my stay special. You could truly feel the effort and care in every little detail. Oh I forgot to mention I also did get a birthday cake & it was yummy! I already can't wait to go back, but next time, will be bringing my Mr. Right with me!

The only downside for me was the location. The property is a bit far from town. I wasn't sure if there were any buses running nearby, so I ended up using taxis quite a lot, especially since I was travelling alone and prioritising my safety. Also, while I fully respect and appreciate cultural differences, I do think it would be helpful if each section of the hotel had at least one staff member fluent in English. It would make communication smoother, especially for solo travellers like me who may need a bit more guidance.

We stayed at the hotel in the month of april. We got upgraded as soon as we got to the property. The staff was super efficient, friendly & warm. They accommodated every request that we had. The communication with the hotel staff was excellent. They use whatsapp to communicate and it is super efficient. We got a hammam bath and a spa done at the property and it was amazing. The food at the property is lovely, the breakfast spread is vast and they also made kumpir upon request for us. They made sure my mother's brithday celebration was super special. From flowers, to cake and also a small gift was presented to my mother on behalf of the hotel. It was super thoughtful. The property is about 30 mns from the city centre by car. however the hotel arranged for cabs for us all the time, we just had to inform them 5 mns in advance. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting bodrum.

The property is what you see in the pictures which exceeded my expectations so much. I went there to celebrate my birthday and honestly the staff made my day, I was touched by their gift they’ve presented me and scrumptious chocolate cake. I was really touched and I will forever remember this moment. The service and the staff - Literally the best and friendly people, I love them and I’m going to miss them so much. They was so accommodating and helpful and anything I wanted or any queries I had, they were so fast with their response which I communicated via WhatsApp. The breakfast was a full on buffet like so many varieties and options on what you want. Their pancakes was the star of the show. I’m not normally a fan but their pancakes was DIVINE and very DELICIOUS. Their spa facilities, where do I begin… The best experience I had, Spa manager and her team made me so comfortable, as well as made sure I was taken care properly. Their restaurant, the food I ordered I really enjoyed. Although, there was limited options on the food menu but I really enjoyed the food I ordered especially the shrimp linguine pasta, it was so delicious. Also the hotel as beach club included, given the fact that Bodrum was currently on their “off season” until the 15th of May. However I really enjoyed myself as well as drinks and food that they’ve offered, it was so spendid. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience for me, I will most definitely come again, also a lot of people saw where I was and they were keen to know more about the hotel and they would also like to visit when they come Bodrum. There’s was nothing bad whatsoever but I did mention to the team that in advance to notify guests before their arrival about their mini bar so that why it gives future guests options wherever that want it there or not, in order to avoid charge fees. Also I was really fond of the cats because I’m really scared of them but the team did their best to make sure to take them out of the hotel property. Other than that it was simply a fantastic experience.

Breakfast was amazing, escape beach club was beautiful, as was the infinity pool. Staff were attentive and very helpful. Especially at breakfast. The gym was good, we even took PT sessions (would only be better and bit beneficial if she could speak English also, but she was amazing, and really enjoyed her workout sessions). Also loved the pillow menu, the goose feather was much better and the WhatsApp for the guest relations was very useful.

Minor detail - but the rooms need a full length mirror, and we asked for twin beds but some days the beds were made up as double and other days twin which was strange. Also many times some amenities aren’t replenished, so you need to keep asking which is a bit annoying for a ten day stay… eg coffee in the room, or cotton pads or buds etc etc just basics should be replenished daily really.

-We were upgraded to a bigger room on the highest floor and that was absolutely wonderful. The room was gorgeous- spacious and stylish. - The view from the room was fantastic - The pool and beach facilities were amazing. Great, super comfortable beds, good entrance to the sea, etc. Tasty Lachmachun from the oven! Drinks on the beach were also good! - Room was clean, bed was great but the best was the so called pillow menu, where one can choose and order the pillow one likes for free. - We left very early to catch a ferry to Kos one day and staff prepared us breakfast boxes to go with tasty sandwiches and coffee but also pancakes with Nutella and strawberries. Same for the early check-out to go to the airport. Thank you for that! 🙌 Was perfect to brighten the long ride up - Concierge staff is very attentive in ordering the taxi, opening doors and greeting, once one comes back. Much appreciated!

- Too bad only one of three restaurants was open:( There were just a few dishes to choose from and we did it on the day one. If two other restaurants were open, we would’ve paid those a visit too , since there is absolutely nothing good outside of the hotel in a walking area. - There was no Nespresso machine in the room and only instant coffee bags:/ which makes absolutely no sense for a resort of this level. - The location I didn’t really like. Gundogan village is quite dirty and there are no good food or coffee options at all - Breakfasts were really good! Just one small thing, the staff is not very attentive and when you order something from the menu, always something else arrives 🥲
