Affordable and clean..but too hot!!😔🔥.it's a hotel room but with bunk beds/ shared inside the Thunderbird Boutique Hotel down the road from the Stratosphere/ Fremont St. Walking distance to the DEUCE city bus route that takes you to the strip, runs 24/7 for $8/day. Get bus pass on the Lyft app. The room was clean but it was soo hot! The hotel box wall ac is fine for a regular room where the bed is by it, but not for a room with 10 people. Nobody else feels the air. Even a fan would help move the air. It was so weak too🔥 install a Mini Split AC until designed for whole rooms, they're not as expensive as central air but stronger. A

Not enough AC for a shared room of 10! Get a bigger wall mounted ac and a fan to spread the air Kicking everyone out of the room to clean it each afternoon was a bit frustrating. Just make it a rule to stay on your bed, nothing on the floor to let housekeeping work.. they only change linen for guests who are gone anyway

The staff were nice and helped with check-in smoothly. A good thing is that you can download the app and open the doors using it or a password—there are no entry time restrictions like I’ve experienced in other hostels. The locker boxes were useful for keeping personal items safe, and the bed, bathroom, and room overall were clean. The towels were also clean and changed very often.

I was in the upper bunk, and the main discomfort for me was not having a plug up there. I had to charge my phone before before going to bed. The personal space could be improved a bit. Even though they have some curtains between the beds, they don’t fully cover your space—so it’s can be just a bonus.

The hostel has a very good location, not far from the strip or a bus stop of the Deuce. The bed was comfortable and the shower very big with a lot of space. The hostel had good and free Wi-Fi and the staff was very helpful.

For me the space between the lower bunk bed and the upper bunk bed was too small. I couldn’t even sit without bending my back or hitting my head. That made sitting on my bed very uncomfortable but it was the only option to sit in the room, but one chair. Another problem I had was the lack of space where I could put my stuff while showering. The only two possibilities to put fresh clothing or your towel in the bathroom was either on top of the toilette or on the towel rack over the toilette.

The hostel was a bit difficult to locate, as there is a lack of signage (I think there are other hotels within the same building?). It’s in a good location, pretty clean room, and a large shower within the shared room. They provided a towel, bar of soap, and water bottle upon arrival. My only complaint is that there are no lockers, just plastic totes strapped to the bunk beds with flimsy straps. While I was able to lock my most valuable possessions in the box, it just was too flimsy to store all of my belongings. If you’re a person that likes everything to be locked up while you’re away, the shared room might not be a good setup for you. Overall, the staff was friendly and the room was clean, so I would return again.

Not that close to the Strip, but still convenient as public transport is readily available.

There is totally no kitchen facilities. If there is at least fridge, microwave and stove to heat up a simple meal would be great for people on budget travel.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here and the view is great, the people are nice… And I haven’t had a roommate who hasn’t been a fun adventurer from another country yet! This is a great option for somebody traveling solo. It’s in a very in-between part of town, which could make you say no.. and that is ok! I think it’s super convenient, a cheap option, and honestly - super easy to get to either part of Las Vegas Blvd and Fremont! The beds are absolutely comfortable for being twin beds!

- Only me in the dorm. That's why I gave it 8 - The bathroom and toilet were spacious and clean

- the location was a bit remote - the staff were not very accommodating nor efficient when answering questions - one curtain was missing and no one fixed it - the light in the room was not sufficient - the bed was too soft while pillows were too high. Not comfy - the worst part was the mandatory download and use of an app to open the door

Front desk staff were super friendly, great location, nice swimming pool with relaxing music. Right on the strip, bus stop, restaurants, 7/11 nearby. In other hostels, people practically live there (locals), but this hostel did an amazing job keeping them out discretely to maintain the backpackers vibe. Stayed here before and will definitely stay here again.

Some of the cleaning staff were not very friendly. No common room to meet other backpackers, no tours available. No fridge or kitchen. Still #1 hostel in Las Vegas though.

Extremely clean. Your room is cleaned spotless everyday with new towels. You are provided with a lock for your belongings. Helpful staff. Great value for money. Hope that stays the same. Fill the waiver beforehand for hassle free checkin.

You might read the location being unsafe with the hostel being in downtown but I didn’t face any problem at all. No one bothered me unnecessarily. I parked my rental Camaro here safely. If this property would be gated with camera that would just seal the deal. Make it like a fort or something if location is the only down side. Close to downtown attractions like Fremont Street, STRAT tower, Pawn Stars shop etc.

Good location, 5 mins from Deuche bus stop, there is 7/11 nearby. However at night a lot of homeless people are hanging down the street. However the area in front of hostel/hotel was quiet. Door open system is great - no need to carry a key. Room was clean and there are extension cords and multiplugs, coffee machine, iron board and iron. Bathroom is good as well.

A guy entered the room despite the fact it was a female dorm. Luckily security handled the issue fast. But the fact they gave him a female dorm is unpleasant. At night area isn't safe. A lot of homeless people, many of them are addicted/ high. The pillow wasn't comfortable. Blanket with no linen given.
