This is our second visit to Villa Huno and it did not disappoint. The apartment is comfortable, well decorated and the location is exceptional. This place has become very special and represents all the beauty that Denmark has to offer!

+ the location is something out of a dream, in the middle of a small paradise, with a almost private lake and plenty of trekking destinations + the apartment was great, big living room with a very well equipped open kitchen, cosy room and a bathroom. We had the apartment 1 on the ground floor that we recommend if you have children as they can go out and play as they please. + great terrace where we took our breakfast every day + As said, the lake is almost private as almost nobody comes here so you can swim (every day 😄) or take the boat for a spin + If you need other sources of entertainment the campsite is just next door: a pizza place, a shop, mini golf, petanque, ping pong, playground, etc +/- the breakfast was good but maybe as this price range they could find an alternative using the restaurant in the building ( you receive in the fridge everything you need for a correct breakfast so you can make it yourself) Hint: ask for room nr 1, especially if you have kids as they can play outside

The property is situated in a nature reserve area; and each apartment has lake view. The surrounding was beautiful. we had everything we needed. There is a nice restaurant (not part of the hotel) that just opened up, though the menu is simple, food was very tasty, we had two meals there.

Breakfast (frozen buns, cheeses, jam) were prepared and left in the freezer with instructions to prepare. We were given enough coffee to make two French Press coffee, but not more. Some fruits or juices would have been nice. We didn't see any staff, communication for the key were sent to us via message. So it depends if you like it; while it was a very nice stay for us, we tend to avoid unstaffed properties .

The location is all you need you to reload, the area is very pure. You can see little hares jumping in the high grass when siping a coffee on your balcony while enjoying the lake view or see deers crossing the fields when taking a shower. The views and dark skies are breathtaking. The rooms are designed with an very good eye for details and care. The rooms are is fully equipped and really thought trough to have an comfortable stay. The cliffs are definitely worth to visit. We were here for some stargazing and loved every second.

The property had to cancel one of our booked nights due an overbooking.

Our stay at Villa Huno was an absolute dream for nature lovers! The view from our room was magnificent, as well as the nature surrounded the property. The room itself was incredibly comfortable and equipped with everything we need. It is also located within a short drive to Mons Klint, with many trailheads nearby. We wish we could have stayed longer to be able to explore more of the area's natural beauty.

Would be nice if the restaurant at the hotel has more opening hours/days.

The continental breakfast was more than enough food for two people, though I do wish they provided more whole grain bread. There's twice as much sauce as there is bread. The cinnamon rolls were too sweet for my taste

While it's understandable that they don't provide cooking oil as people would obviously just use all of it for frying, not having just a small amount of cooking oil is a huge inconvenience for dinner. Even more aggravating is that the pepper that is provided hasn't been restocked in a while. Both lighters were out of fuel, locking us out of lighting a candle for the dinner table, the bedroom, and the lantern. One of the knifes still had grime on it. There aren't really instructions for any of the equipment in the space (telescope, oven, electric stove, and dish washer.

The location is great. Very quiet. The view of the small lake is so beautiful. Lots of nature all around. On foot with short, very well signposted hike to the cliffs of Møn. Charging station for e-car available.

As nice as everything is there, the planning of flat 2 (Vandrefalken) is not ideal. No air conditioning, but not really a draught either, unless you put a stone in front of the door. Other people are constantly walking round outside the window and looking into the flat. No fly screens available, despite the fact that there are a lot of mosquitoes in the wild. Opening the Windows at night is hardly possible. The entrance gate is the patio door, so you are standing in the living area with your dirty shoes. It all looks nice, but is impractically planned.

Stunning location, both in terms of direct surroundings as well as Mon as a whole. Spacious apartments. Very nice building as well. Electric Charging at location (note that not all cards are accepted!). The nearby camping provides nice playgrounds for kids, as well as food and drinks.

Breakfast is pre-stocked in the fridge and could use some variation (same for every night). As other reviewers have mentioned, the location does lack a restaurant / bar which is a bit of a miss (the camping at walking distance is a great alternative though).

The location: Calm, serene and stunning views of the lake. The design and layout of the room is perfect. The breakfast was frozen rolls but I was surprised at how delicious they were. The bathroom facilities were excellent and they have managed to get the right balance between customer experience and sustainability which we felt was a really issue all across Denmark. One of the nicest places we have stayed in and I can't recommend it enough.

Absolutely nothing!

Villa Huno exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff were exceptional - they were helpful in countless ways. The apartment was spacious, clean and had a balcony with a great view of the lake. We loved hiking the trails and winding the day down at Dark Sky restaurant. Would love to have stayed even longer! For non-car travelers, please be aware that there are limited public transit options, at least in early June. We got dropped off at the bus stop near Magleby and walked the rest of the way.
