Secrets resorts NEVER disappoint.. I can't wait to go to Secrets Resort in Aruba and Cancun. Great food, Great Staff and the facilities are 100% spotless. Entertainment was top notch also.

The only things that disappointed was 2 things. 1.Liquor at bars were limited and only 2 topshelf liquors everything else was local alcohol including beers. 2. Local vendors from neighborhoods on the beach pushing their goods. I love supporting local vendors but NO is NO. They push their goods on you sun up to sundown. Regulate how many vendors can be on the Secrets Resort part of the beach.

Private pool; wide hot tub; many restaurants; modern decor; everything looked like new and clean; friendliness of the staff; bachata lessons at the beach; it felt like a very upscale experience, and we were able to enjoy and relax; the beach show and the Madonna show that were complementary with the stay were also amazing; wifi connection throughout facilities.

Italian restaurant "Olio" did not have great food, it was clearly pre-made dishes that had been warmed up. My room (2120) was also very humid and had humidity smell, but that was not the case for the other rooms my family stayed on. Another issue was the sargassum at the beach but fortunately we only experienced sargassum for 3 out of our 10 days and our hotel did a great job of cleaning sargassum from the shore. Wifi at the rooms was not super strong if you wanted to have video-calls from the room.

Excellent bed, hot waterfall shower, all 3 buffets breakfast, lunch, and dinner were upscale & delicious. The house band (guitarist), dancers, solo singers were great The bartenders are top notch, show a genuine interest and connection to the guest & are well trained to make a lot of fancy drinks. The quiet pool was so posh You have to get there early to reserve a bed or go over to the main pool which is very interactive. The decor & small touches like the Coco cafe, champagne stations and fresh fruit to eat are enchanting.

The room was not cleaned on our 1st night. Had to ask. Could not get room service at any time during our stay We were on the ground floor (my friend has mobility issues). My friend thought the room smelled of mold as I did not We saw a few bugs. My friend did not like any specialty restaurant but I had something I liked at each one.

Overall, the property was well kept and had clean rooms. Our favorite server was Alejandro, who works in the lazy river area. He really made our stay so much more enjoyable. He put in the extra effort with drink recommendations and always ensured our glasses were full and that we were having a great time. Emmanuel, our butler, was able to help us with reservations and was always available for anything we needed. Olio was the best breakfast spot for made-to-order breakfast, and the Barefoot Grill was the best lunch spot serving up freshly made tacos. Overall, we would happily stay here again, and that has to do with how fantastic the staff was, especially the team on the lazy river. Make sure to bring plenty of $1s & $5s so you can tip the staff.

Only two improvements that could be made would be the room service and dinner food. The room service we received was not edible, and most of our dinners lacked any flavor or were overcooked. We met other guests who said the dinner food quality was much better on previous trips.

Food excellent, staff very good Margarita at the pool and Domingo in La riviera restaurant were both excellent the whole visit

Not enough seating on the private areas which we paid extra for Also the house wines (Red and white) were very poor quality

The beach and all the pools are gorgeous. The water was the perfect temperature. There are many different pools so you can hang out or swim laps. There is also an exclusive Club Member area where you pay extra but it's worth it. I would take a room facing the pools because you get more sun with those rooms.

We loved the buffet food but in the Mexican and American restaurant, we had guacamole that was turned and a filled pepper that was rotten. When we told them that the Guacamole was turned, they didn't understand and kept bringing more of the rotten guacamole. It was obviously pre-made. It would be nice to have fresh guacamole made from fresh avocados in the Mexican restaurant. The staff's English is not very good and they often don't understand so you have to use hand motions. In the rooms, they should have more towel racks to hang towels and bathing suits.

I liked the environment at the location. The customer service was great. We also had a butler for our needs. And I was impressed.

I didnt like that there was no service staff at the main pool. We really wanted some drinks there but you had to go to the bar.

Facilities, pools, rooms, restaurants were all clean and comfortable.

The beach was riddled with all sorts of party boats and other activities. Really killed the relaxation.

All the restaurants and access to the restaurants to the sister hotel were amazing. The entertainment staff and shows were out of this world. Great value for money. Best resort myself and partner stayed at on our long vacation.

I like how the property had so many options, between pools and restaurants. The spa was one of my fav the hydrotherapy was worth it .

Just the walking but I did stay in an ocean front . Front desk has no issues getting us a ride
