Absolutely amazing experience. Attentive and friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. The location of the hotel is unbeatable with view on Samana bay. It has a private beach and a free of charge transport to the nearby cayo levantado island. The rooms are clean and well maintained. We fell in love with the hotel and its location so much that we decided to prolong our stay for a few more days. The food was great and diverse and the service was impeccable. there are plenty of different cocktails and local premium drinks included in the all inclusive offer. The hotel threw a wonderful dinner and experience for new year’s eve. everything was magical. We are already looking forward to repeating our stay next year.

I’m very happy with the overall experience, I must mentioned that before my stay I read a couple of worrying reviews about food intoxication, this has nothing to do with hotel food, if you have a sensitive stomach just avoid drinking tap water and ice and you’ll be fine.

After making my reservation. Getting in touch with a responsible human being there to answer questions and make transfer arrangements was frustrating and ultimately IMPOSSIBLE - A WEEKS-LONG NIGHTMARE. BEWARE !!

The resort was easy to navigate. Great view of the ocean. The staff were very nice. The ocean was great to swim in. No seaweed or coral so great for going barefoot.

There was not a lot of entertainment on the resort. The was very little choices when it came to the food buffets compared to other resorts in the area. Lastly personally I found the beds to be very uncomfortable. I got very little sleep throughout my week.

Oh my favourite place of all DR. What a gem. I didn’t expect too much reading the reviews but oh! It was just great. First of all, the location. I have never been to a hotel that has such a 250degree views of the sea. That was the number one. The place is so well designed you feel like you are almost on your own and they were sold out! So many areas to chill, on so many levels. Wherever I looked it was just beutiful. Even a space behind the building. Even the parking lot looked like a garden! Just amazing. The staff is also amazing and will be happy to help. My mum didn’t like her toom so they changed it at no extra charge(we were glad to pay but didn’t have to). The lunch was excellent a la carte. Dinner was meh. Breakfast ok. I loved the locations of the restaurants. The rooms were a bit old school in design(not my favourite style) but of all the hotels we went to it was by far the best kept rooms. You know that feeling when everything just works and everything is there when you need it. Like working a/c, and quiet, a lovely coffee maker, a good magnyfying mirror in the bathroom, a lovely ice box… etc etc. The bartenders know their cocktails too and the bar is so well priced.

Dinner. My only but big dissapointment. Lunch was awesome though and breakfast just ok, could be so much better. We didn’t get sick, but food lacked flavour. But I loved the place so much it wasnt a problem.

Hotel with a beautiful location/view. I had a room with a sea view and that is really worth the extra amount. Staff is very friendly, everything well maintained. Buffet fine, but standard items that I (only had a three-day stay) quickly recognized from previous evenings. Disadvantage: a lot of stairs. Not suitable for people with mobility problems.

See the remark about the steps. Furthermore. It is quite remote. So if you want more than just a beach/swimming pool, you really need a car (or book trips via the tour desk).

Very nice location. For adults it is the best. Very relaxing stay. I liked the free shuttle to the Cayo Levantado beach in the island near the resort. The food was great with very good a la carte restaurants. All rooms have a great view to the sea. Beautiful buildings and great views and atmospher in each corner that you may sit and relax.

In the room there is hardly one electric socket that you charge your electronic devices. In our room the bath jacuzzi parts were falling apart. Regarding the juices in the restaurants, they are very very sweet.

Hotel location is separated as it seems and thus very quiet. Beach is super clean and beautiful. No sales people in the whole hotel area (besides the travel guides in the hotel lobby that guests can approach if needed). At the beach you can enjoy the sound of the sea, while the pool area offers a great animation program and music. The hotel offers an outstanding view to the sea. Chance to see some whales if you are lucky (bring binoculars). Free shuttle to the close by Baccardi Island.

Food is delicious but not suitable if you have any food allergies. Allergens are not labeled at all. Also, no guidance from the kitchen staff. Lobby staff and guest relation promised help, but nothing happened even after multiple approaches. Only one shop in the hotel area, which is pretty small and expensive (bring enough sun screen, snorcheling equip, etc.)

The Hotel structure and gardens are very well kept and maintained. The location is perfect. The view from the the room was awesome.

The air conditioning wasn’t cooling enough. The bath tub wasn’t draining correctly.

restaurants were open only one daily and they had very limited capacity also, sometimes in the buffet there were flies in the area where they has the fruits and cheese

Spacious room, nicely decorated, unmatched view. I read the bad reviews about the food, I do not know what people usually eat, but for me the food quality was far over the expectations. Beautiful beach. And with the rented car you can reach in 20-30 minutes one of the most beautiful beaches as well as other amazing trekking places in DR if the hotel beach is not enough.
