Wonderful place! Thoughtfully laid out in an area of natural beauty, including waterfalls and rivers. Very comfy rooms. The bed was excellent. Food was great and worth eating on site at their restaurant. The road up to the lodge is best in a 4x4 but not terrible (they can collect you). Staff were very helpful. The toboggan run is fast and thrilling. I have travelled and stayed in many places in the DR. This rates in my top 3.

The location was beautiful and the individual units very comfortable. The many lagoons and waterfalls on the property were spectacular. Going tubing on the river was lots of fun. The food was good. The wait staff was outstanding.

The amenities we were interested in, such as the spa and horseback riding weren't available. We also were greeted by a very unfriendly receptionist. As a first impression of your hotel she was awful.

Beautiful area, quiet and staff is friendly. The cabins need a little more maintenance for the price they are charging (the ac kept turning off every 60 minutes all evening long and they decided to hammer in a broken balcony beam in the first floor while we weee on the room, without asking first).

It's a hidden retreat by the river where you are surrounded by nature and mini waterfalls around the property.

It's tucked away in between the mountains, accesible through rough roads - drive responsibly.

The menu has many different options. The food is good and with a great portion. Facilities are great!! They welcome us with some with a glass of juice and the customer service was on point. The road to get here is not an easy one, but if you drive an AWD vehicle is a Great experience! They offer to pick you up at the main road if you don't drive an AWD vehicle.

The excursion to the Larimar cave did not meet our expectations for the price we paid. We got into a safari, drove like an hour or so to the cave and when we got there, the tour guide showed us how they identify the Larimar stone in the mountain and like three holes, which is where they extract it from and nothing else. The whole thing was like 10 minutes max! I strongly believe that the price should be revised, because to me is overpriced.

We were lucky and got a nice room but somewhat close to the generator system. But with the creek that ran under our room helped to hide the machine noise. Beautiful locations with well built beautiful rooms!

Beautiful setting, staff was absolutely wonderful. The driver for the lodge was so friendly and exceptional. The staff really tried to strive to help us in any way. They even have massages on site. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Food is overpriced for what it is. I don’t mind paying a premium especially considering how remote it is but the menu needs revision and updating to have offerings that can be easily executed and presented as described. Staff is a bit short staffed because when we inquired about a missing plate from our dinner order they said they will try their best but they have a big group they’re currently attending to. The onus shouldn’t land on the hotel guest, it should land on the hotel and restaurant to correct an error.
