From the moment we walked into Kundalini Hotel, we felt an overwhelming sense of peace and relaxation. Nestled right on the beach, this place is truly a hidden gem in Montañita. Our room had a stunning beachfront view, allowing us to wake up to the sound of the waves every morning. The entire campus is beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of nature and comfort. One of the highlights for me was their coworking space, which made it easy to stay productive while enjoying paradise. The beachfront restaurant serves delicious food, making every meal a scenic experience. Plus, having access to a private beach meant we could escape the crowds and fully unwind. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat, a remote work getaway, or just a perfect beachside stay, Kundalini Hotel is an absolute must-visit. We can’t wait to return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

WE LOVED IT!

The location of this hotel was amazing! It was right on the beach with gorgeous views of the sunset. Breakfast was delicious- try the gluten free waffles with fresh fruit. Yum! The grounds are beautifully maintained and phenomenal. My room was very comfortable.

When I was booking, it was difficult to tell where the rooms were in the hotel. For example, was it near the front or near the back, etc. Although I would have liked a slightly different location, when I checked into the hotel the staff offered to change my room if I decided I wanted to upgrade to a different view, I decided that my room was perfect for me because it was nice and quiet. The hotel is a long way from the airport though.

This is a gorgeous property right on the beach. It is also just far enough away from the festive part of town that when you are ready to rest you can easily do so. Every aspect of this hotel is stunning. Wonderful selection of breakfast options served to you right on the beachfront.

We booked what was described as a junior suite. I'm not sure of the exact definition of a suite, but I believe it involves the size of the room and the amount of furniture. Our room was not much bigger than the king size bed in it. There were end tables and a larger table attached to the wall that was supposed to be a desk but did not have a chair. No other furniture in the room beyond that. We did have a fantastic balcony overlooking the courtyard and the beach with a hammock two chairs and a table, so maybe that's the extra furniture. Minor complaint for an otherwise extraordinary place to stay.

The location was perfect. Quiet area away from the loud party area of Montanita but in walking distance if you want to join the party. Nice beach and restaurant area. Breakfast choices (5 or 6) are the same everyday but we thought it was pretty tasty. Overall we had a great time and really enjoyed the perfect location, beach area, great air conditioning in room, and restaurant/bar area.

The bathroom needs updating and was very dark. If you want to take a shower in the evening it was hard to see in the shower.

Breakfast is included and was delicious although I miss the gluten free option. The hotel is very nice and I loved my ocean view room. The staff is very accommodating. The tomatino lunch app. is delicious!

The dining area needs fans to help cut down on the flies and mosquitos. We got eaten alive! I hated not being able to flush the toilet paper. Smelled gross with our every other day cleaning.

I loved the location of Hotel Kundalini. A short ride to Olon by taxi An enclosed beach area to view the beach relaxing all day. My room had an ocean view so I enjoyed the ocean all day and night and at a joyful breakfast in the morning on the hotel for free.

I wish breakfast started eaelier for the coffee to see the sunrise. I also wish the surfers wouldn't fall into the water.

This is my second time visiting this Hotel. The staff are nice and friendly. The shower and bedroom were neat and cleaned. The AC was cold and comfortable. The bed and comforter were soo comfy. The neighborhood were the hotel is located is quite and safe. The breakfast was full choice. They offered free coffee, tea and water any time during your stay... which it was a plus! Also, they have a Sauna. Lovely.

I did not like the small portion of the dinner that I ordered. I think the prices for their restaurant dishes were over priced and small portion.

The location is perfect, next to the beach with private sunbeds. The common areas are beutiful and quiet. There were free coffee, tea and water. The room was quite small but enough for few nights. The own terrace was a plus. Breakfast was delicious. After check out, you can leave your luggage for storage and stay at the common areas till evening if you are taking a night bus for example. Free yoga on Wednesdays. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Great place for relaxing!

The toilet’s wall didn’t go up to the ceiling, so it wasn’t totally sealed. There was a restaurant, but it was a little bit pricey and the quality was mediocre.

We LOVE the Kundalini! This year for New Years Eve they even added a bonfire of manigotes on the beach at midnight - it was marvelous! Special shout out to staffers Acua, Lucia, and Flora who were wonderful! Everything was terrific and first class all the way - perfect location, great rooms, excellent restaurant, and everyone is always so helpful and nice to deal with. Kundalini is the best!

Chill, comfortable, peaceful-tranquil … the private beach area … the gardens, shrubs, flowers, trees … the staff

Poor wifi in my room and it’s sitting area/hammock and at the private beach area … I liked the dining room/restaurant BUT the tables by the windows were too high relative to the chairs AND with the foods served in a dish like platter with high sides one needed to be an acrobat to handle the foods and get them onto the fork and into one’s mouth; one lunch I had steak fish shrimp etc. combo and the knife was useless in cutting the meat … the Expresso machine wasn’t working and I had to visit another property nearby for good coffee
