Firstly, before I travel I'm a heavy researcher. Detail and trying to get the maximum experience matters to me. I read about the construction work going on, it did concern me a little. There's a bit going on, you might hear the odd drilling during the day but you won't spend a second being bothered by it. There's no disturbance during the evenings. Forget it, it's nothing. This is undoubtedly the best hotel facing the Pyramids! Everyone who stays facing the pyramids in any hotel will say their view was the best. Sorry, no, this is the pinnacle. The view from the room was outstanding. The view from the two restaurants which are 5th and 6th (roof) are just off the scale. There are other adjacent hotels with a similar rooftop view, but they don't all have the range of rooms with balconies and the stylish restaurants. You could just sit and stare at the mighty pyramids for days on end. Should add for info, some 2nd floor rooms with patios, you might have a palm tree obscuring your view of the smaller pyramid, but from the restaurants, higher up, just magnificent. Staff are fantastic, kind and helpful, it's humbling. The room had it quirks. It's Egypt, no disrespect meant, its not 5 star. The bathroom door had no latch or lock, some of the finishing is a bit odd, the TV didn't work, but look, if you're not overwhelmed by everything else about this place and moaning about a few small things, well you might to be too hard to please. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Aircon is fine. Unlike some reviews, it's not really noisy during sleep if your patio door is closed, there isn't smell of camel and horse dung, yes it's noisy at street level until late (if your patio is open) but you're staring right at one of the most amazing things you could ever see, its a major global tourist attraction, so it's busy at times yes.

Who cares if every single detail in the room wasn't perfect.

The location and view from terrace just in front of Pyramids is unforgettable!!! The staff is very friendly and kindly always smiling and ready to serve us; specially thanks to Santiago at reception he supported us during all our stay arranged all the tours all the required we need He organized for us many thanks we will not forget our stay and trip

The attention from staff always smiling and ready to serve us, small details such as for example: like go up to restaurant late at midnight for a hot milk to prepare a tea or coffee and they bring you for free.!!! Another day I don’t feel well and staff help me and and they went to pharmacy with me to support me and translate to the person to provide the proper medicine in order to recover myself and they were pending about my recover during all day ..!!

I have a mixed feeling about this place. Like the rooftop and the restaurant, food is tasty and at reasonable price. And some of staffs are really nice and comfortable to talk but the other not so much. If you stay shortly it’ll be fine. Especially thanks to our concierge Santiago (Ahmed) and our driver Mohammed.

First of all the construction noice at 2 am? What’s that? And I woke up for that noice every night and the smell of cigarettes in our room is unbearable. The water in the shower didn’t drain smoothly and it built up along with shower.

A view from the terrace can takes your breath away!!! Very nice and helpful staff. All staff! Whatever you need, the staff will take care of it. Do you want to pay by card in US $? No problem! Very tasty and delicious dishes in the restaurant on the terrace. I recommend making a reservation before. For 18$/pers you will be full! And sure of quality and freshness. And in the morning you can eat a hearty breakfast on the terrace, looking into the eyes of the Sphinx. For free! ;) But for real travelers and globe trekkers, I recommend driving from the hotel to Cairo on your own. First by toctuc (moto-riksha), then local mini-bus, then metro from Giza and finally tuctuc in center of Cairo. Yo will see a REAL Egyptian life. Not from behind the window of an air-conditioned bus of travel agency... Take it easy - it's very safety! I strongly recommend.

The views!!! The service, attention to detail. Santiago in the front desk made sure our stay was perfect!! Everyone was also very special to us and couldn't do enough to help us with anything we needed. The food was delicious, and the room was pretty spacious, clean, and comfy. Many thanks!!

The Great Pyramid Inn is great! Good location – in front of the Giza Pyramid! The room was clean and the free breakfast tasted good. We dined at hotel’s rooftop restaurant for two nights, and the food was delicious. The front desk/restaurant staff are very polite and attentive. The private tour guide booked through the hotel was superb and reasonable price. Besides having a guide and not having to queue for tickets, our guide don't force us to buy anything. We totally enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Wifi connection is not great in the area.

It was amazing! The hotel was in front of the pyramids, literally the sphinx couldn’t be closer! I walked to the pyramids and I enjoyed having the best view. Also, the buffet was delicious and with a lot of variety. The staff was so kind and tried to help me all the time, the room was so comfortable and with water and tea. The decoration was beautiful 😍 The elevator was so fancy! And they gived me as a gift one magnet of the pyramids. I would love to visit and sleep here again

They didn’t contacted me before even I put my contact information and when I arrived to El Cairo airport they couldn’t picked me up and I had to take a taxi at midnight.

I booked the Great Pyramid Inn for three nights, and the experience was amazing. The hotel is ideally located in front of the Giza Pyramids, with an unobstructed view of the pyramids (no scam Giza view or fake photos). It is right next to the Giza premises, which is a plus point. My room was simple and perfectly sized for one person, with a large wardrobe and washroom. The main gem of the hotel is its rooftop restaurant, from where the Giza pyramids are clearly visible. The staff were very professional and multilingual. I bonded with Ahmed, one of the staff members, very well, and he narrated interesting and factual stories about Egypt every night when the restaurant was less crowded. We exchanged conversations about Egyptian and Indian history for three days. The breakfast was good, delicious, and featured mixed cuisine. They run a buffet on some days (I don't know exactly which day, but it was there on my last night, which was Saturday). They have good shisha which you may try at night with a pyramid view. Aladdin is very professional, fluent in multiple languages, and always ready to help. I had a small issue, and he acted instantly—something unexpected and usually witnessed in luxury or five-star hotels. But the way he acted and supported me was amazing.

The Wi-Fi was very weak, so I mostly used my own data, and the elevator was sometimes out of service.

We recently stayed at this hotel during our trip to Egypt, and overall, it was a memorable experience—mostly for the view! Our room had a stunning view of the pyramids, and the balcony was the perfect spot to relax and soak it all in. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, and the breakfast buffet offered a great variety to start the day. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. Dinner at the hotel was good but quite pricey. We also booked private tours through the hotel, hoping it would be a safer and more convenient option. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. While the guide was decent on the first day, he seemed disengaged on the second, and the itinerary wasn’t followed as promised. For the cost, we expected a much more professional and organized experience. In short, the hotel itself was lovely and worth it for the location and views—but I’d recommend arranging your own tours independently.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is either just built or renovated, the building, the rooms, the toilet, the shower seemed to be new and very clean. The staff was friendly. But the most valueable advantage of the hotel is the location. It lies 2 minutes walk from the Pyramids only. The view from the terrace is breath taking, all the Pyramids and the Sphinx look as if you could touch them with your hands. And dispite in the comments about other hotels nearby, luckily it wasn't smelly, even though we were afraid of it. I really recommend this hotel for accomodation!
