Everything! The hotel was super clean, the staff super helpful. Anything I needed they could do everything to make it possible. Also the staff had problem-solving skills. We had an experience in Egypt with scammers and they helped us with getting a refund even it was not their responsibility!! If one day I will visit egypt again I will definitely stay here again!

The internet was sometimes slow but it was not a big issue as I also had a 3G. The street where it is located is little bit dangerous but there is always a staff downstairs so it was safe and the road definitely need to be renewed. Also the breakfast has more local food instead of European but if you want to experience the local food then it's fine! So in general it's not a big issue.

The street where the entry is is not the nicest, sandy, with people sleeping in the empty buildings. The elevator is also a bit scary. Some rooms are so small, hard to fit your suitcases. And those next to reception can be noisy when people check in late or early. They should just teach their staff not to be so stressed about insisting on paying the first minute. Feels like no one trusts anyone. But all that did not matter so much, we got used to it, and we extended our stay there and woyld always come back. Better coffee would be a great improvement. 👍

Close to the pyramids, amazing view from the terrace and the people from the hotel, specially Sayed and Islam, did everything to make our stay the most enjoyable! They were really kind and helpful. We had to leave at 4.30am for our flight and they surprised us with 2 bags with breakfast on our way out! That definitely saved our day!

We chose a room with a view and terrace access but we didnt know that the terrace was open 24hs, so the first night we couldnt get any sleep because people were coming and going and you could hear everything. Fortunately for us, the next morning the hotel Manager Sayed quickly changed us to another room, very silent and that also had a nice view to the pyramids!

The owner and the staff were exceptional hosts. Very friendly, very informative and took extra steps to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. That kind of service is uncommon. Great job! Of course, every place in Cairo seems to say it has a pyramid view. This hotel does and it's direct and unobstructed. Stunning views with a big terrace so you can relax without a crown around you.

Things the hotel couldn't change--such as the entry from the street area. Inexperienced travelers may be intimidated by this. But if you're going to Cairo you're not an inexperienced traveler.

Love the terrace just in front of Pyramids. It is stunning. On the other hand, rooms are quite spacious, bathrooms also. Service is impressive, they really care about your stay and anything you need. Breakfast is fine (maybe not the best) but you can have it seeing the 5.000 years old the most impressive jewels of architecture, so, it is quite good at the end.

Stay in Giza requires to have a good plan for your trip. It is not an easy place just to go walking around. It is very close to Pyramids and GEM but you will need transportation anyways. Of course the same to move to downtown and airport. That won't be a problem at all if you use uber or a transfer service. In fact, hotel can arrange that for you. They offered the complimentary airport transfer at arrival and it was the best service I had arriving to an unknown country. Hotel is located in a dark diagon in a highest floor of a building. At first sight is intimidating but as soon as you use your transportation and elevator, everything is fine.

I’m not gonna lie, it took me some convincing not to run away when the car first pulled up to the street. But God am I incredibly happy that I didn’t. Khan DuiDar Inn was the single best experience I’ve ever had at a hotel anywhere, period. Don’t get me wrong, the neighborhood is very safe, but it still gave me a first impression that doesn’t suit the beauty and hospitality of the Inn. From the first seconds in, the hotel staff helped with every single thing we could need. Any potential minor issues were solved immediately, and the staff was always incredibly happy to help. The room was perfectly clean, and the photos were quite accurate. And once we got to the terrace, the hotel jumped to a new level of perfect for us. The photos don’t do the view justice. The incredible pyramids lie in front of you, as though you could touch them if you wanted. We spent most our time in the terrace, and the hotel turned out to be the best part of our entire trip to Egypt. The breakfast was perfectly balanced between traditional Egyptian and more western dishes, and the food from the delivery menu (there’s no kitchen in the hotel after breakfast, only delivery) was delicious. This might be the third time I’m saying this, but I can’t stress enough how incredible the staff were. They helped us plan our Cairo itinerary, helped us arrange a car back to Alexandria, and they created kind and heartwarming moments and surprises for us at every corner. We genuinely felt at home at the Inn. TLDR: Once you get past the first shock of the elevator and the street (both of which are actually very safe), Khan DuiDar Inn will definitely be an unforgettably beautiful experience with its magnificent view, perfect staff, and home-like feel. The hotel itself is great, cannot fault it at all. However, the tour company that they recommended was not up to scratch. The tour guide was friendly, but was not very informative.

The room is spacious, and all the accessories are great. Absolutely amazing view and staff, they are always there when we needed and they are super passionate. The entrance may seem a bit weird but once u get up to 13th floor it is a very clean and comfortable place. Breakfast is delicious with a lot of selection and different eggs to choose from. And the cats are very cute.

The shower head is sort of broken? I mean it didn’t affect the comfort of the stay, but it’s just kinda weird. The street downstairs may be a bit chaotic at night, so if you are traveling alone or if you are only traveling with female, I would not recommend go out walking on the street after the sunsets.
