Staff, especially Mr Eloi, but also Juan, Guillermo and a young female staff were friendly and helpful, being available 24/7. The room I stayed in was basic, with air con, essential in the Summer in these regions, an adequate bathroom, free wifi, lounge, and lift. The location is excellent as it is placed just off a very nice area of the city with plenty of public transport available. People are friendly and helpful in general and the hospitality offer is outstanding across the city.

There was a strong smell of tobacco on the floor where I stayed, I hope the staff can sort this out in the future. There are more expensive options around the city if you can afford them, but I got what I was promised for the money I paid.

Good basic hotel in the centre of town. Rooms are clean and shampoo/ soap is provided. Reception is friendly and helpful as well as manned 24 hrs. Parking is a bit tricky but I was always able to find a free space if you look in the residential area between hotel and plaza de toros. Except Friday nights when they limit parking for the market next day. In that case you can use the underground parking at the square 200m from the hotel for €1.80/h or €23 per 24hrs. Best rooms are the singles with their own little terrace with views over the city on the 5th floor.

Stayed here numerous times now in the last 7 years , doesn’t change , staff always very friendly and helpful. I think in fairness it deserves more than a 1 star rating, if in uk would be 3 stars ! Great vending machine coffee 80c tin of coke €1.50 far cheaper than most hotels I’ve visited , good beds , if budget allows go for room with a balcony , winner in my eyes ,

Only thing I can say is rooms with a small bath/shower could do with a handrail perhaps !

Great location in central Almeria, staff at the desk are very helpful. The room is spacious and has everything you need.

The only problem was it smelt like the people in the room next to us were smoking one of the evenings. The scent was really strong in our room and it was pretty gross. Not the hotel's fault though and it was the only negative part on our stay.

It has 24 hour reception the staff are very helpful , friendly and very respectful the bed was comfy and the room was warm there is a television but I did not use it.it is in a good location and I enjoy my stay the area is with tapas restaurants near by and supermarkets and phone shops for accessories and beautiful backstreets with restaurants

It was a great place to stay

Location is perfect, close to Puerta de Purchena, restaurants, shops and everything you need. All the staff were helpful and friendly. a special mention to Eloy who gave us a lot of information about life in Almeria, Thanks a lot Eloy! The room was spacious and comfortable. Price is very convenient. I'll definitely be back!

The location is superb, very central and easy to get everywhere by foot or bus. The rooms are very clean. The furniture seems old but in good condition. The room is very small, however, it does fit the bed, a desk and a closet.

There is no soundproofing so you can hear what's going on outside the room. The design seems very old, albeit well preserved.

The hotel is central. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean - clean towels and room cleaned everyday.

It was a bit noisy - including other guests who had no thought for others. The shower is over a very small tub bath in a very small bathroom, which could present lots of h&s issues for older people or those with infirmaties.

The Staff was super friendly!

In my second night there was an incident a few rooms away from mine where someone screamed at another person for a very long time at around 2am in the middle of the night. I went on for about an hour, with slamming doors, screaming etc. Then the police came and the arguing went on for quite a while longer. It's not the hotel's fault of course, but I was not able to sleep which was bad because I felt really exhausted and sick already.

I’ve stayed here a number of times in the past, staff always friendly and helpful, this stay was only for one night,booked single room and was upgraded to a balcony room for free, if you are planning a trip I can highly recommend this hotel, vending machine is very cheap , quite unlike most hotels! If you’re going for a few nights and budget allows book a balcony room you’ll not regret it ,
