Ground floor Bedroom a little too small and a little too dark. The aircon was noisy and not cold enough. Restaurant closed on Monday, it would have been nice if the staff would have warned us when we arrived and would have suggested an other restaurant close by. We went to have a drink and a bite at the bar located by the lake but be aware, the kitchen closes at 9pm.

Location is great and it was very dog friendly, even had dog beds, bowls and biscuits for them. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was a beautiful garden and a lovely bar in the old house.

The extras do mount up 35 euros per dog, 20 euros for parking and 18 euros for breakfast. We both felt breakfast was overpriced. I am coeliac and need to have gluten free. There was no bread or cereal just a tiny croissant, which was surprising for a 4 star hotel. We had a ground floor room but poor sound insulation between us and the upstairs room made it noisy.

Everything. Staff were exceptional. Location second to none.

Exorbitant charge for parking when there is no other option and the fact that a kettle is provided, but no mugs, spoons or coffee! We borrowed some cups from the bar area and fortunately had brought coffee sachets with us. Everything else about this hotel is perfect - luxurious bedding, dressing gowns and utmost comfort, but why provide a kettle if it can’t be used?

The villa is beautiful and the rooms are clean and pleasant. The location is good, with excellent access to the town and its restaurants. Spa is pleasant. The staff were efficient and the car parking was very good if expensive.

The room was designed by somebody who doesn't stay in hotels. The wardrobe doors hit the safe door if the safe was open and had left marks on the wood of the door. In the bedroom, a panel could be slid open so that the person in the bedroom could watch the person in the bathroom whether that person liked it or not! The bath was ridiculously short because of a peculiar glass counter that ran wall-to-wall. A longer bath would have been more comfortable. Only one bin and the desk was taken up with the TV leaving no space to work with a laptop in a comfortable position.

We loved the quiet spot and promixity to a beautiful lake, walking routes and town center. The villa is beautiful and very charming.

The room could do with some design improvements of the lighting (more ambience in the room) and more flattering lighting in the bathroom. Another important improvement could be to integrate some sound proofing to the bathroom and place a handle on the door to that makes it easier to slide it open from the inside.

Very smart, spacious hotel on the edge of the town. An easy walk into the centre. Excellent underground garage, accessed from a ramp in front of the hotel. Good breakfast but the restaurant was not open in the evening.

As it is not possible to drive up to the hotel, or to park legally close by, som additional instructions about how to access the garage would have been helpful.

Charming hotel in a really lovely location. Bordering a little man made lake with various types of water birds. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good.

I had expected the annex rooms to be a bit more in character with the house but this is only a minor point.

Beautiful hotel and spa. We stayed there on a motorcycle trip, hotel has private secure parking. Rooms are very modern and well done. Very pleased with linens and towels. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend.

This is not a complaint, more a suggestion. The breakfast buffet is badly lit and the toaster takes forever.

First floor rooms in the annex is really nice with modern beautiful bathroom and a cosy high quality feeling The parking on the basement is spacious
