An exceptional place to stay. Great location and the hotel has an intimate, beach vibe that is laid-back and welcoming. The rooms were spacious, clean and had everything you needed. The food was excellent and the pool area was also a great place to relax with friendly, attentive staff.

It can be pricey but you are paying for the location - it is situated right on the beach. Plus the afternoon care service doesn't actually start til 4pm.

The bed is so comfortable. The room is very cute. The breakfast was delicious. Staff didn’t bother me, which I like. The bathroom is amazing. Overall you can’t really go wrong staying here in Santa Monica.

There were unsupervised kids splashing and playing in the hot tub. I found that surprising, given the branding of the hotel, but of course it’s not their fault. Just be mindful of that if you’re looking for a more adult/quiet experience. The pool area in general could use a refresh, honestly.

My sister and I had a suite. The room was quiet and had plenty of space for us. The hotel is located on the beach, which is amazing. The outdoor patio was excellent for breakfast. We rented bikes from the hotel and rode the boardwalk to Venice Beach for some shopping and lunch. The staff went above my expectations.

We were on the first floor overlooking a parking lot. Everything else was perfect and I will stay here next time I visit.

Amazing location right on the ocean. Staff were so friendly & helpful. As it was my 60th birthday celebration they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a Pacific View Suite, which was stunning. They also sent a birthday cake and chilled bubbly to the suite as a birthday treat. The meals were all delicious and the level of service exceptional. This hotel thinks of every detail to make the guests feel welcome & appreciated.

Beach Front with a rustic atmosphere-escape the day-to-day hustle & bustle. Staff very attentive & helpful. Valet parking was great! Room was perfect with ocean view; easy walk to shops & restaurants. Check-in was a breeze...Oh yaeh, the margaritas were the best!!!

Room service menu selections. Having to use my phone to see any kind of menu was a pain (especially with the pop-ups)., but even then the selections were very limited. Thermostat did not work until the morning we checked out.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the location couldn't be better -- you truly are right at the beach! I had an ocean view room with a balcony and each morning I woke up to the awe-inspiring view of the Pacific Ocean. Cracking open the sliding doors even an inch and I was greeted with the mesmerizing sound of the waves. And as fabulous as the setting is, the staff is equally magnificent! Each person I interacted with went above and beyond to make sure my stay was the best it could be, and it was that and so much more. They made me feel like a VIP! And if I hadn't experienced all of the above, I would go back just for their ice cream sundae and their pineapple coconut smoothie!

Only one suggestion, upon being taken to our room, the bellman should have done a better job explaining the use of the safe, the working of the TV and certainly should have fetched us ice. I had inquired as to where the ice machine was and he replied that there were no ice machines on the property, but that it we wanted we could have gone to the bar or the pool to get some. For travelers who had just spent 6 hours in flight to get there he should have picked up on that and just made the effort to get us some ice...that was my only complaint of the service...anticipate the needs fully.

Location, On-site restaurant, luxe & comfy room, though our stay coincided with 1st day of Hotel-Worker strike at hotel up the block for 3 hours starting at 6 am, so loudly that it sounded like they were outside beneath our balcony. The property isn’t even a union property so that was unexpected. Also enjoyed dinner at the on-site restaurant & lunch the following day outside on the patio with 2 different ambiances-both were thoroughly enjoyable, the service was attentive and nice and we really enjoyed the food.
