First of all, the Wilshire Crest Hotel commands a great location. Well situated between downtown and West LA, it is particularly convenient to the LA county museums, CBS studios, the Farmers Market and The Grove shopping mall. The staff was polite, friendly and accommodating; they allowed us into the room earlier than scheduled and provided us with a quiet location which we requested in advance. How often do you get what you ask for these days without unpleasant conversations? Not often. Although I had my doubts about the street parking availability and safety, it worked out well. When u check in, they give u a daily placard to display in your window, and we always found parking within a block of the hotel. No problems. Great walkability to museums, shops and restaurants.

The room itself had a vintage feel but was comfortable, spacious and well-suited to our needs. The dining room was bare bones and the included breakfast was basic. There was no prepared hot food, but what was offered was adequate enough to begin our day.

Love the quietness of the neighborhood & the hotel. Very comfortable to sleep. Staff was great.

Hotels in LA are unbelievably expensive -- not the fault of the hotel property -- but it's tough to pay over $200 a night for a normal (very decent) hotel. The free breakfast was awful -- but FREE! So not complaining honestly.

Good neighbourhood, comfortable bed, with all the essentials we needed for a 3-nights stay. Breakfast was exactly as specified in the property description: not good, not bad either. Perfect for a quick bite before heading out for sightseeing.

I would have liked to have a hair dryer in the room. The cleaning lady was very prompt in the morning, she wanted to take out the garbage at 8-9 in the morning when we were still in our pyjamas.

Clean, comfortable, great neighbourhood, very friendly and helpful staff and generally a lovely old school feel to the place (as opposed to alienating large global hotels). Exceptional service: we accidentally left an expensive electric toothbrush and they not only recovered it, but also mailed it to our next destination (we paid for postage). They also helped with parking spot - gave us permits and physically showed us where to park in the street. Highly recommended

Great location for where we needed to go. Our room and adjoining bathroom were clean and roomy. Very quiet and breakfast including coffee was good.

Hallways looked worn and new carpeting would really improve the looks of the facility. Parking is free but minimal so might not find a parking space if you arrive later in the day.

Very neat little hotel in a quiet residential neighborhood very close to most everything in Beverly Hills. Walking distance to the Sabanne and several other attractions. The staff was helpful. Room was large and clean.

I only have one bit of constructive feedback. I left my ring in the room, the staff did not respond very quickly to emails. Despite that, they were really helpful and carefully verified that they had the ring before I made the 2hr drive to get it.

Ambiance. This is an older property and in a popular area, but it is very well kept, and the staff was excellent in service and conversation. The room was spacious and well-lit with the necessary commodities I needed. I enjoyed my short stay at this hotel.

We enjoyed the selections for the in room breakfast. Staff was very friendly and responsive . Location was excellent, near good restaurants, shopping and museums

The only suggestion we had is to put a hook on the back of the bathroom door. There is no place to hang things when in the shower.

staff was very kind. location is very good whick you can walk to grove mall, erewhon, Trader Joe, wholfoods market. room is big.

bathroom was little bit dirty. you can hear the sound from neighbor's room.

Staff was very friendly. A bag with breakfast was at my door at 7:30am. It had a variety of things to eat in it, yogurt, cookies, muffin, and a banana. The location was great for the Urban Lights exbibit.

Parking was a pain. Had to move my car to the other side of the street the next morning after arriving. Had to park two blocks away to find a spot on the correct side of the road. My coffee maker had a burnt power plug. They did not have a replacement.
