Location is excellent. Christmas time was peaceful even though people came and went at the next door. Hiking trails are close by. Petrol station, grocery store, Alko (liquor store) and a small outdoors shop are next door. One can if so wishes take a husky ride on a sledge at the Kilpisjärvi -lake or at the Tsahkal -lake. There are trails for snow shoes leaving just a few steps away from your cabin door. One can also take snowmobile tours on the ice of Kilpisjärvi -lake. The fell Saana and other smaller fells are close by waiting for you to conquer them. Sauna was great and bathroom spacious. The drying cabinet at the hallway was highly appreciated and used.

The cabins are in a few rows and built like a rowhouse. I was expecting detached cabins with more privacy. The kitchen was adequate with a microwave oven, oven, refrigerator with a small freezer and dishwasher. However I found kettles, pots, pans etc. somewhat inadequate. I have to be honest I do love cooking and I can be a bit demanding about this topic, so take this with a grain of salt… Smallest cabin (30 square foot) is very small with bed(s) upstairs at the end of very steep and narrow stairs, (you have been warned…). Also (again just me...) the beds could have been more comfy.

Excellent location just 200 m walk to the Kilpisjärvi central shops yet still in a beautiful nature surrounding. Hiking routes start just 100 m away. Good price to quality ratio in an otherwise expensive Kilpisjärvi (this time of the year). Good for a family stay with plenty of sleeping places. Kitchen was well equipped, had coffee brewer and even some left over salt flour and coffee filters.

A bit worn. Shower room had no shower curtain or place to keep clothes, a small plastic stool or rack would have done the job.

We loved the sauna in our room, we loved that our host messaged us to let us know to go outside because the northern lights were in the sky and we loved that the accommodation was a couple of minutes walk from the bus station and they held our bags for us for the day

The only thing we could fault (which is super minor) is that like all the accommodation we stayed in in Norway and Finland, the double bed had two single doonas on it. This could also be classed as a good thing if your partner is a doona hog. Just something we’re not used to in Australia.

It was good !!! I was happy with my stay. They allowed me to check in early which was very accommodating and meant a lot. I had an apt that was clean, simple and basic nothing fancy but good. Fair price, beautiful location and quiet. I’d def stay again I’m in Kilpis a lot . Thanks

Maybe could use some new pillows kinda old and lumpy . Otherwise really great. Maybe alittle bit of touch up paint work on outside of buildings just a friendly suggestion .

This place feels so cozy and authentic! I loved having breakfast there in the morning while watching the sun rise above the snowy hills by the window. It's very easy to reach by bus from Tromso (with Best Arctic buses). It's also really close to a convenience store, restaurants, and hiking paths, and relatively close to the Kiplisjärvi lake. This lake is frozen all winter long, so it's an ideal spot to watch northern lights!

We didn't have bed sheets with us so we rented them, but my husband (who has a strong sense of smell) found that they smelled a little bit like cigarette smoke. I personnally didn't notice.

Beautiful location right next to the national park, waterfall, Saana fell, and, of course, petrol station and supermarket. The owner is a very pleasant person. The lodge itself was very spacious, and there was a sauna!

The ceiling is rather low in the staircase, and I hit my head against it a few times before learning my lesson, so a small warning somewhere in the area would be nice.

Breakfast was providing our own but it was a very good location close to the main reception and K-market. The restaurant at K Market was extremely nice too and tgr host was extremely friendly and I would recommend coming again. Polar night was fascinating and added a new dimension to the whole stay. Watching the amazing colours in the mountains with a constant, sunrise/sunset sky

Not a lot I didn't like really, it was a comfortable place to stay and sleep for a few nights.

This is place is highly recommended for people travelling to Kilpisjärvi. This place is merely 200 metres from the bus stop where long distance buses from Oulu, Rovaniemi, Kittila or Levi stops. There is K market nearby. The Kilpissafarit which conducts various tours is also merely 700 meter from here.

Location was perfect. The Sauna, as well. The host was super nice and very helpful with giving ideas about what to do and what to see.

When you shower, everything in the bathroom gets wet. For 2-3 hours, you can not use the bathroom only with socks anymore.

It is overprice for not providing basic neccessity of hotel such as WIFI, linen and towels. No body bring linen and towels in their holidays. The hotel should think about this
