At first, I thought it would be a just and normal hotel with fair price. But it turned out that the hotel exceeded my expectation. Although the room was small, but it had a modern-look, and was clean as well. The sea-view was also nice from the balcony.

The breakfast maybe was a bit minor. Although there were options to choose, but they provided it in a limited number since it was us who the only real hotel guest there. Nonetheless, in general we are satisfied with everything provided.

The buffet had a wide selection of fresh fruits, pastries, and hot dishes, which made for a satisfying start to the day. - **Room:** The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. I appreciated the comfortable bed and modern amenities provided, which made my stay very comfortable. - **View:** The view from the room was stunning. Whether it overlooked the city skyline, lush gardens, or serene water bodies, it added a beautiful touch to the overall experience.

I didn't like that at the time of arrival, there was no clerk working in reception, which made it difficult to get assistance when needed. Additionally, there was no electric or smoked sauna available, nor was there a preheated sauna. Furthermore, the grill room was not open during my stay, which was disappointing.

A decent hotel in a great location - right on the seashore, looking over the bay, next to a larger campground and sandy beach area with various facilities. Staff were friendly and breakfast great. My room was small but ok, it even had a small balcony, but overall nothing particularly special. There is a stunningly beautiful nature trail close by that takes you through the forested tip of the peninsula and along the mighty rocks of the sea shore. So: location a plus, nature trail a double plus, hotel itself decent and ok but nothing too special.

Just the price ... sure, the location right on the shore and it was in the middle of the summer, but still a bit pricey for what it is, in my opinion. But what do I know about costs these days!

My 2nd stay at the hotel. Personnel is very friendly. My room was small but fully sufficient for me. Breakfast was excellent, with a view of the sea. Modern hotel on the beach, but the real highlight is a nature path that starts not far away and leads to some sections of incredibly beautiful shoreline with large boulders, smooth rock faces and great forest paths.

Delightful beach front hotel. Beautiful sea cove location with great beachfront play areas and nature trail nearby. Delicious breakfast. Two bedroom family room was impressively fitted out for the space. Enjoyed the facilities and relaxing on the beach front deck.

Dinner meals were lovely but came out quite staggered. Think there was only two staff onsite.

Single motorcycle traveler. Very nice location with an awesome view. Next to the hotel starts a nature trail and there is a sand beach close. Very good breakfast, friendly staff, clean, quiet and good parking. Exactly what I was looking for.

I stayed at room no. 2 with a view to the seaside. The room is decorated simple and yet so beautiful. I really enjoyed staying there. I loved the bathroom, and the light above the bed, genius! The restaurant is also very nice and cozy, the food was amazing. The hotel staff was really kind and polite. Usually I put extra salt on everything but this time, no need. For a dinner I had a delicious mushroom risotto with pesto, and 2nd time a pork with fries and vegetables. It was seasoned with herbs and spicies perfectly, both times. During the breakfast they offered also gluten-free bread and food. Thank you for that! You can also go for a Santalahti trial hike, there are 2 routes you can take, blue and orange. I took a blue as it was shorter and you could not lost even if you wanted to as there was the blue signs on trees all the way around. To get to Santalahti beach resort is a big tricky. I had no idea that during the autumn/winter season, there's no public transport available. And was to lazy to ask before arriving how should I get there. I just assumed that it will be no problem. First time I walked there it took me around an hour and the next day I realised that it is not so complicated as you just walk straight forward on the pavement. The next time I rented a Donkey Republic bike. It charged me 2 euros per hour. No big deal. I keep it for 3 more days. On a bike it was faster (around 30-35 minutes) and I had more time to explore Kotka town or take a train to Kouvola and visit my friend there. I found out that everything is closed during autumn/winter season as I was looking forward to visit an aviation museum. But no worries, I'll be back, but definitely next time I stay longer to enjoy the piece and quiet, and try a sauna! Looking forward visiting you again, hopefully sooner than I can. Kiitos paljon!

I didn't like that I had to leave so early. And I had no time to left to try a sauna.

Place was in a great location and getting in to the building and in to the room was with a code.

The payment process is a little bit complicated if you arrive late and have to leave early in the morning, before the reception is opened. It would be easier, if it could be done online.

Good value for a shorter trip. Very nice location, friendly staff and a beautiful sandy beach. Beautiful view from the terrace/restaurant! Overall not too busy, which we enjoyed. We arrived by bus and taxi and thanks to the restaurant didn't need to make any other arrangements and could focus just on relaxing. The close-by Santalahti nature path is amazing and highly recommended!

We felt that the (at times quite loud) music playing on the terrace all day was unnecessary, and since our room was facing the same direction, we couldn't really "escape" it either. We would have preferred a more quiet environment and for example enjoy breakfast without the extra noise. The beach and terrace offer little opportunity for shade when the sun burns down, and the privacy on the sea view room's balcony isn't great, as people can look right up right at you from the terrace.

The location is beautiful and there is a nature trail nearby. Room was clean and beds were good for sleeping. The breakfast was also better than I expected!
