Convenient location, walking distance to historic main street shopping district and restaurants. Free parking. Express check-in. Well appointed, clean room. Really appreciated carpet-free flooring for hygiene and allergy concerns. Spa tub a welcome perk at end of long road trip!

Breakfast included menu very egg/meat oriented with sides of home fries. Pastries offered were not fresh. Would prefer addition of healthier options, i.e.: fresh, whole grain or oatmeal muffins, hot/cold cereals, fresh fruit. Televisions mounted in dining space tuned to U.S. news and sports channels vs. Canadian broadcasters.

Excellent breakfast for being included. (table service from onsite restaurant). Beautiful dining room and terrace in summer for eating. Great hotel room, full size soap pumps in shower and sink (lotion pump too). Room fridge was exceptionally cold. Location 10/10 backing on the gorgeous, well manicured town park and close to town. Perth is beautiful! Didn’t use or see spa or pool level. Have no comments there. Would definitely come back, but will first be shopping prices still in spite of the Best Western Points. Keep those prices reasonable!

Noisy A/c. You could see light under door so noise travelled through from hallway. Water from sink was very stinky; does it come from river/pond because the pond area smelled like that too. Maybe it only smells like that in the hot summer months.

The hotel is very clean and I loved the jacuzzi. The room smelt nice and there was a towel in the shape of a swan on the bed when we got there. The room was also very spacious. There was a nice pool there with a real deep end at 1.83 meters which my children loved.

The AC was a bit loud and we had to turn it off. Another thing that stuck out in a negative way was breakfast. They served exactly the same continental breakfast as anywhere else, except that at this hotel it was served a la carte and we could not make any combination of foods that we wanted and food was rationed so there were no refills. For the money I paid I would have expected more,

This is our go-to place to stay when visiting family in the area. From check-in to check-out, we felt well cared for and appreciated as guests. Room well appointed and exceptionally clean. Breakfast in bright café included table service. On this stay we also opted to host family for dinner at The Locks, the inn's onsite restaurant, which also offered excellent service.

This 'could have been better' applies to most chain hotels and inns. While generous home-style breakfasts suit most, we prefer a options of lighter fare and a choice of smaller portions with an eye to healthy eating.

Breakfast was good as well as the service.

Every time I approached the reception desk, I had to wait until the reception employee either finished or temporarily paused their phone conversation. While I understand that handling phone inquiries is an important part of their job, guests who are physically present should be given 100% of the staff's attention. This ensures a better and more personal experience for those who have taken the time to visit in person

The room was really nice and the king size bed was very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful when we asked for bedding for the sofa bed. The breakfast was really good but it would have been even better if it had come with bacon. The eggs were good and the home fries were delicious.

Was very disappointed that they ran out of bacon for our breakfast. What really made it worse was that the people at the table next to us got bacon with their breakfast and we ordered before them.

your Breakfast location was fine. the breakfast was not. sorry but that is the worst bacon i have had in 60 years. Dried out and almost burnt. it broke into powder in your mouth. sorry but mcdonalds and tim hortons make far better bacon.

at dinner there were 4 staff and virtually no customers . we were seated and left alone while the staff all chatted at the bar. i eventually was able to wave to get attention for a drink. the bedroom 101 for assisted seniors had a cold hard and dangerous tile floor.

I was attending for family event close by. Hotel was perfect location, facilities, food, staff all were as I hoped. Ease of entrance, someone to help with bags would be only criticism. staff...nothing too much trouble.

Just someone to help with bags would have been great,.... I'm getting on and have bad back. I can manage of course but it's always great to have someone help..

I wish there was a designated area outside for smokers. my husband smokes and I have no problem going outside with him. But felt I was in the centre of a parking lot by the car. As we didn’t know were to go to be respectful for those who do not smoke.

Suite was spacious & comfortable for family with beautiful views of Stewart Park. Soap facilities on site were a real bonus!!

Pull out sofa in suite was very uncomfortable — mattress needs replacement! Wifi went out due to thunderstorm and it took property more than 12 hours to fix the issue on a weekday/ workday. Weekend staff at front desk did not seem as kind, cheerful or helpful as weekday staff — perhaps crabby due to having to work on a long weekend … customer service requires politeness and kindness; I suggest that these front desk workers find a different job if they cannot fulfill these basic requirements!
