Property is fine, rooms were clean and the beds were super comfortable. Due to my being disabled, the room we were supposed to be in was on the second floor so, the fellow at the front desk was very accomodating and made arrangements to get us changed into a ground floor room. He didn't have to do that but was willing to go the extra distance to make us comfortable. I wish I had gotten his name to thank him personally but hopefully he sees this so I can show my gratitude for going the extra mile. The building isn't really set up for wheelchair bound individuals but we made it all work and enjoyed our stay.

Rooms were not quite wide enough for a wheelchair and unless you go inside and down the hall, you'll have a hard time getting in through the patio door. But other then that, it is a very nice hotel and it seemed well maintained for an older building.

Kenora is beautiful! The location was very picturesque. Nice room with a ground floor patio outside. Front desk receptionist recommended a local place for dinner - Lake of the Woods Brewing - Was incredible and a highlight of our road trip. Kenora deserves another trip! We can't wait to explore the area in the future, it looks like such a gem!

We were assured there would be free onsite parking for our 33 foot Uhaul, and we had to park across the street and down from the hotel in a large Canadian Tire parking lot. Not ideal with all our possessions inside and being so far away. The hotel was chosen for the onsite parking. That was a drag and added stress to that stop for us. We were assured it was monitored and we were not broken into so I guess it was safe!

The location was a bit off the highway but got there easily. It was a nice ans clean hotel. We have stayed at a few comfort inns in the last two weeks and the breakfast at this one was the worse, and I heard other guests also complaining about it. The potato pieces were not cooked at all, the pancake machine was broke, hardly any yogurt in the cooler, and no white bread, no bagels, my husband had the sausage and omelette and hash browns and said it was not very good, he said it was like the hash browns were microwaved. Some people looked at it and left.

The breakfast

Rooms were clean, even though we had an older, non-renovated room. It was also reasonably quiet for it being next to the highway. Check-in and -out was very quick and easy.

There was a constant beeping noise all night long that sounded like a smoke detector running low on battery. And breakfast is only until 9:30, which seems shorter than most other hotels, and I could not find the time until I was at the door. Overall it was fine and I would come back at a cheaper rate, but it was too expensive for what it is.

Breakfast: first day came down to pick up breakfast for my aunt who couldn't come down.Then came down with the rest of the family.There was lots of people and very little food so we sat and waited for everyone to serve.At 9:00 we went to serve there was no bacon, potatoes and just a bit of eggs.We ask if he was going to bring more to be told breakfast was over .He refused to make food. The next day the lady was super nice and she served everyone to the end of breakfast time.Wonderful.

It was a wonderful stay.

Me and my dog are walking across Canada for mental health and the staff were really great with us. We arrived early around 11am and they had us checked in before noon. And they were so good to my boy giving him water and playing with him.

The price was way too high for what it is. Basic cable tv. The first night was $250 and I extended our stay and it was 350 the next day haha

The breakfast at the Comfort Inn was fine as was the location, right off the highway. The room was spacious and the King bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We didn't think that the sofa bed would be so small. It really is only big enough for a child. It is a single size - twin at best. Definitely not big enough for an adult male.

Super clean room and very polite, helpful staff. It was a good location for me as it's a few minutes from gas, food, and a quick exit from town. The towels and bed linens were all very soft and clean. It was also very quiet at night and I did have a good sleep. Overall, the hotel will be very nice when finished.

Over-priced for what is offered. They are under construction so not a great place for an extended stay. No hairdryer or makeup remover towlettes which I learned on checking out was over-looked when setting up the room. My toe caught the sharp end of a carpet tack sticking out of the carpet by the bathroom. Staff came and took a picture for a report but was not able to do anything about the tack so I made sure to be careful stepping over that area. Parking on the property may also be problematic as they have a lot of construction equipment taking up space at the moment. I was fortunate to get one of the last spaces.

Breakfast was great! Byron in the kitchen, went above and beyond, ensuring that there was a different hot meal, everyday. Ask him about 'Momma'. 10/10

In the town there were two events on both weekends, that jacked up the prices extraordinarily. The inflated prices cost me more than my flights and car rental for the week. 1/10 The pool access at the rec centre is closed over the summers - every summer. 1/10

Bed super comfortable. Breakfast provided was really good. The boiled eggs, fruit and yogurt! Much better than other places we've stayed.

High price. Around $200.00 would have been better compared to other places (similar) that we have stayed at across Canada.
