I liked that it was a clean, new Marriott property north of Waikiki, so I didn't have to drive into the crowded area in the evening. It also had Peloton bikes - however it appeared that the internet was too slow in the gym area for the classes to stream properly. (I never got it to work, I tried on two separate occasions and have a Peloton at home.)

1 - The beds were incredibly uncomfortable (soft and lumpy mattress, scratchy sheets), which is really odd for a new hotel. I was told at check-in the property had been only been open for 7 months (as of July 2024). 2 - The property is downtown, surrounded by much taller buildings - so the rooms don't get much natural light, and is on the edge of Chinatown - which is really pretty seedy/sketchy at night. 3 - When I checked in, the desk told me I had been "upgraded" from a king room to two queens... I was traveling alone. I don't consider having two beds an upgrade, and again, the room was very gloomy.

Easy walking distance to Chinatown, Iolani palace & art galleries.

The room design is weird, if not inconvenient. The toilet & shower are separate from the sink & towels. If you have a shower but forget to get a towel you have to walk across the room. Also in order to wash your hands after going to the toilet you potentially contaminate the connecting door because the sink to wash your hands is on the other side of the room. And this whole process guarantees that you’ll wake up your partner. Obviously designed by someone who doesn’t stay in hotels or who only ever travels by themself. Hotel was very expensive even though room was clean & staff were lovely.

The staff was friendly and very helpful - all staff I came in contact from the Valet outside, front desk, Bartender and cleaning. Front desk gave me an excellent referral for coffee and a pastry when the hotel restaurant was closed. My room was quite and really nice.

I should have explored the surrounding area prior to my arrival. I was a little turned around and not sure what to do. So, I hit the bar in the Hotel - there is an excellent wine list and appetizer option - so I was content. Don't forget the dessert!

This is a brand new (Open only 12 weeks on our arrival) small hotel, (112 rooms) in an excellent location for exploring downtown Honolulu. It is affiliated with the Marriott group. Remarkably there are a minimal number of competitors in the central area as most opt to billet further afield in the Waikiki area. The rooms are spartan think no closet, one chair, one hook to hang something on, a bed and a very minimalist bath with a small shower and toilet. Bed was king-sized and very comfortable, an excellent large screen television the only wall decoration to speak of. The venue is very clean, staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. This is not a place to stay however, if you a seeking a room “with a view”…but why would you need it when you are only blocks away from the water. Breakfast…is in the main floor restaurant consisting of a buffet and several made to order items (Avocado toast highly recommended). However, be prepared for “sticker shock”…$35/per person and parking is $55/day by valet service. This coupled with local tax can seriously increase the cost of your stay…but Hawaii being an island is expensive. The in-house bar is a big plus staffed by an excellent crew.

No significant negatives to mention. A solid eight…excellent choice for those happy to explore the downtown with easy access to a number of museums and old Honolulu sites. A number of less expensive than on the beaches restaurants to choose from within walking distance to Chinatown. Easy arrival and exit to the airport, a 15-minute commute or less depending on traffic. Be prepared however for expensive rides, by Uber or city taxis. Minor problems, the safe was not working and one bedside reading light was inoperative.

Everything is new and modern. The bed was comfortable.

The bathroom lay out was weird. Shower and toilet together with a sliding glass door that lets in light to the room. The bathroom sink is not in the bathroom. It’s outside the bathroom in the room. It’s was a weird layout to me. I like the shower, sink, and toilet all together in one place called a “bathroom.”

We did not use any of the facilities but the staff were superb!! They were attentive, helpful and what you would HOPE to experience at a Marriott in Hawai’i! The valets and front desk staff were the ones we had the most contact with but housekeeping were quite friendly as well.

Nothing to complain about.

Convenient location for business travellers in the center of Honolulu. However, if you are interested by beaches, this is not the place to go! Hotel is clean and staff is friendly efficient. Breakfast is OK.

Breakfast and other meals at the hotel restaurant are outrageously expensive!

Did not care for the breakfast, I think you need to add scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, bagels maybe some hash browns

You don't take cash, I feel you need to change that. Oh yes, the toilet seat seem to shift when you sit. We allowed none of the above to put a damper in our stay.

We stayed one night. Looking for a place convenient to the airport and it was perfect. We enjoyed drinks at the attached restaurant.

Staff was more than helpful with questions about the area Breakfast buffett was good.

Ice machine on our floor was out of order. Just rode elevator to lower floor.
