We had an amazing view of the Brooklyn Bridge! The room was spotless, and the service was truly impressive. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and care. The team took their time to answer all our questions, making us feel incredibly valued. We couldn’t have imagined a better reception. The entire staff was motivated, friendly, and always helpful, which we deeply appreciate. We felt so comfortable throughout our stay. This was our second time at Moxy NYC Downtown, and it definitely won’t be our last! We’re already looking forward to seeing you all again! P.S. If you have a USB port, you can plug it directly into the wall without needing an adapter! :)

The staff was great, and the location was close to lots of interesting restaurants and bistros

There was a destination fee that was not mentioned on bookings.com. There was no parking for the hotel. The parking suggested by the hotel staff was 70USD a day.

We were on the 19th floor with a nice view of the city. Staff was friendly, rooms were cozy but very nice and clean, location was excellent, we didn't eat or drink at the cafe bar but it looked very nice (you get $15 food/beverage credit per day). There was some sort of entertainment every night of the week. We also got free bike rentals (unfortunately we didn't use them) and a free excursion to the Statue of Liberty cruise with VIP seating, free drinks and cookies and no lineup which was amazing!!

Nothing I didn't like....our stay was perfect for the money. There is no parking at the hotel so we ended up paying a LOT of $ to park our car ($300 CDN for 4 days) but this has nothing to do with the hotel and it's amenities.

The proximity to metro stations, Brooklyn Bridge, World Trade Center, Financial District and supermarkets with just few minutes of walking. Paola who served our breakfast for 3 consecutive days is very welcoming and available. The lounge bar at the 3rd floor is entertaining

The door at the entrance, it's a very heavy door and need to push it everytime we entered. There is NO cabinet/closet in the room. We hung our dresses on the wall. And the table and chairs are folded. The reception hallway and desk. For a hotel of Marriott Bonvoy, it must be spacious and not with a tiny table with 2 laptops only. Our room key didn't work many times started our first night, August 15. We went to the reception back and forth but didn't receive a nice solution. The following morning ,August 16 it happened again, so I went to the reception to ask what they can do. And the guy made an immediate solution. He offered us a late check out. And he sent an engineer to our room to fix the issue. It was the battery problem and he changed it.

Good and safe location, quiet room to get good sleep, all the staff at the front desk was very nice, especially Ben who welcomed us. The resort fee includes bike rental, tickets for the ferry, and a 15$/day voucher you can use at the restaurant.

The shower could use a deep clean to remove hard stains and mold. The morning staff at the restaurant always served us the food/drinks to go (in paper bags and cups), as if we were on the run. We noticed other guests sitting at the bar and who ordered the same thing as us, were given plates and glasses. When asking if we could change, the staff member who served us looked annoyed. Working in hospitality is maybe not her thing, she never had a smile on her face.

Very nice hotel, very helpfull and kind staff, on the entry and also in the dinning area, lounge area. The credit for every day was a plus plus, which we could spent on food or drinks. That was our salvation because we could have delicious breakfast every day that was included into our bill. And very big plus for vegan options, very very big plus. Bad thing is that you raised the prices the last day we were there. Holding the luggage till leaving the hotel is also very big plus for us and not charging it. The toilet was clean when we got there, we think it should have been cleaned in the meantime while we were staying there and not just before we came, and also, there are no hangers inside the toilet, but that's the only minus we could find and it's not very important. All in all, it was very pleasant stay and we look forward traveling and staying in you hotels in other countries.

Great stay, perfect location, wonderful staff and in all a perfect place to stay in Manhattan. Roms are not big but it’s what you need. Perfect beds, view, breakfast, good sleep. If I go again I would choose Moxy.

Was give somewhat of attitude from staff regarding Tokens for breakfast, they where short on Tokens in reception so had to come there 3 times for the whole stay to refill (which I don’t really mind). The 3rd time one staff gave me attitude ,kind of implying i should have been given all them the first dag. Well I do agree to that but since they wore short on those Tokens and kept asking me to come back I feel that giving attitude is not a good thing. As quest I prefer not to be questioned since it’s a management problem and not a guest problem. Giving attitude should not have guest relation contact. Nuff said, in overall, the stay was great thumps up. (Some people should just not work in service)

Very nice rooms, good beds, spacious shower appreciated! Incredible view from 20th floor. Staff is great! The gym is clean, has very decent gear and the mini basket course is really fun. Never ever seen hotel basketballhall before. Bar and bartender great, and the relaxing areal is very cool with board games, the self service kiosk and a microvawe if you really want so save money with your own noodles.

The relaxing area is not really relaxing at night, as theres a dj and loud music. Can't really hang there for a peaceful chat - is basically a night Club with bar vibes. No other option for silence except gym or own room. But its a choice.

The ambiance, the atmosphere, the vibe: everything felt perfectly curated for an authentic Downtown NYC experience. The interior design was modern, energetic, and effortlessly cool. Huge shoutout to Justin, who delivered exceptional service, warm, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make the stay unforgettable.

I just wish it had a rooftop at this location but the other amenities made up for it, and the elevators were a little annoying but that’s to be expected at any hotel (especially if you want good views). Honestly, nothing stood out as a downside. Everything exceeded expectations!

Location, hip atmosphere, staff were very nice and helpful. Especially, the front desk staff. They work very hard in very tight quarters to get guests checked in and out and answer questions and call for cabs. Due to the limitations of the workspace it could be a very high stress environment. The staff kept their cool and their pleasant demeanor at each encounter. I was impressed.

The size limitations of the rooms would keep me from returning unless I was a solo traveler. The ridiculous chair that looks cool but nobody uses and it eats up 25% of the usable space in the room. Replace with a folding chair.
