The room was clean and it had a very nice ocean front view. Staff went above and beyond from the doorman to the front desk to people getting our drink orders at the pool. The bar area in the hotel made delicious cocktails.

The included 18% gratuity on all checks really added up. While it’s very nice that the service workers are being tipped appropriately we found them adding gratuity on our included breakfast was a bit invasive as we only chose the buffet and got all items ourselves. Having them explain it was for bringing us our coffees and we had to pay 18% of the total cost of our “included” breakfast seems wrong. We would have gladly paid several extra US dollars for them bringing us our coffees….but it didn’t feel like it warranted 18% extra.

Staff were amazing from check in, housekeeping, restaurants, concierge, they were also friendly and accommodating. Loved the pool and Jacuzzi and the amazing sunsets. Lovely hotel, great location and food. Would definitely return.

The AC in the room, stops and restarts often, very loud and disruptive. Musky carpet smell in hallway.

Staff were very friendly and helpful with questions raised, the Veranda restaurant and bar was pleasant for alfresco dining and the shuttle service to the main beaches was useful. The bus stop into town was just across the road and a local car rental establishment was adjacent to it.

No real complaints regarding the hotel.

This was our third stay and I specifically asked for a 1st floor room near the hot tub. We were assigned room 126 which was our room on our 1st stay so We were extremely happy with the room. It made for a delightful beginning to our vacation. Also, the buffet breakfast was excellent. The service around the pool was excellent. Neal was our favorite. He was super helpful and attentive.

We were sorry to see that the beach had been eroded by hurricane impacts. There was some disappointment that we would not be able to lounge on the beach. I would not say that it detracted from our overall experience and it was missed. The dinner menu inhouse was less than stellar.

You may hesitate because there’s no sandy beach, but this hotel was perfect regardless! The location was close to everything - even walking distance to other restaurants like Peppers which everyone must try! The hotel was well maintained and clean. So we’re all the other facilities. But what stood out the most were the staff members. They went above and beyond and we’re always so friendly!! Specifically Neil who was super attentive and even remembered us all by name after the first introduction. I would book this again in a heart beat!

Nothing - everything was honestly perfect.

Chris at the entrace is the sweetest person. He reads every wish from your lip and he has always a smile for every guest. The staff in the restaurant are very sweet, they come more often to the table and ask if everything is ok than necessary. The view from the pool is absolutely amazing and O'brien does everything to keep you comfortable there. The water in the morning and the fruits in the afternoon are a high plus. Loved my room, was big and the small balcony with the partial ocean view was very nice to hang out.

The one girl at reception gave me from the beginning an arrogant and cold look over. Was probably not her week.

I loved everything about the hotel from the moment I stepped out of the taxi. I felt immediately welcomed and instantly relaxed... Everyone was kind, professional, knowledgeable, friendly. The hotel premises were spotless and simply beautiful, from the lobby to the courtyard to the Mercantile to the Spa to my room - and of course the beachfront. Location was perfect. The food options were plentiful and everything I tried was really delicious, plus the morning coffee and smoothies were succulent. I loved having dinner at Veranda and at Anchor & Den, where the theme nights were super cool: incredible food and wine lists, plus live music. I also loved attending the various activities offered by the hotel, especially Sip & Paint and Make Your Own Foot Scrub (and I'm sorry I missed the Friday hair braiding!). I bought a lot of items at the Mercantile (including swimsuits, jewelry and the hotel's signature scented oil for diffusers which smells heavenly) - the clothes and other merchandise were really nice, and I loved that they sponsor the Starfish Project. The beach was gorgeous and I spent hours snorkeling and swimming in the crystal-clear water, both in front of the hotel and further up the heavenly 7 Mile Beach. The Botanika Union Spa was top notch and the few massages I got there left me feeling like I was on Cloud 9. The concierge service was excellent, as was room service - they even surprised me with a cake on my birthday! The quality of service was top notch throughout the hotel. I have been privileged enough to travel quite a bit in the past, and I was sincerely impressed by this hotel. It will become one of my go-to places whenever I need to escape to paradise for a holistic reinvigorating experience. I came home feeling happy, refreshed, relaxed and completely at peace.

Overall area is lovely - Turtle Cove is a lovely little area within the hotel and the pool area is nice too. Room met all our needs.

Beach isn't really a beach - more some sun loungers squeezed onto a narrow sandy area - but the water is still lovely. We stayed a few days prior at the Westin which probably meant our comparison is a little harsh, but for a bit extra you can have real luxury up the road!

Cleanliness, friendly staff, all the activities that are offered. Also, the refreshments by the pool and in the lobby were a plus. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety.

The only thing that I didn’t like was an odd smell in our room. That’s the only thing I can truly complain about. I do wish the breakfast was cheaper.

The sea has moved in so much over the years that there really is no place to sunbathe on the beach by the hotel. You can walk further down the beach - given space limited sun beds on the decking area.
