Met at reception by a charming and helpful member of staff. Clean and comfortable room overlooking the bridge and river. All cooking amenities, Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Restaurant downstairs. Advise booking. Free parking in nearby car park, but not Saturday, as there is a market, which sells all fresh produce. Shops, cafes and restaurants nearby.

No parking available outside accommodation, so parked for free on nearby street. A bit of a trek with suitcases and shopping etc.

Quiet, cosy, well-designed room facing a very quiet traffic free street. Breakfast left by the door each day was generous. Staff were attentive when a heating problem needed fixing.

There could have been a swifter response on the heating issue but staff were apologetic and generous in compensating us with a very pleasant session in the Spa !

Young lady on reception was very friendly and efficient and took the time to show all 4 of us tour individual rooms (apartments really) in different buildings. We arrived by bicycle and she was also happy and patient to allow us to securely park our bikes and remove luggage. This was in a secure locked ground floor building, protected by key code access - perfect. Great wifi easy to connect. Fantastic facilities in the spotlessly clean and modern apartments. Great location in the centre of town. B'fast delivered to the door in a covered basket - not huge but extremely convenient and a great time saver to make an early depart.

You might want a more substantial breakfast but wouldn't be difficult to find in town. Not sure how easy it would be to arrive by car but perfect for bikes.

We loved Aubusson, and we loved this accommodation! We were so pleased with our lovely room and kitchenette/bathroom. The room was modern with every comfort. It is clear that the owners have made a good effort to provide just what is needed! Thank you , good value for money and you really have thought of everything. So clean and welcoming.

ROOM SUITE ARE VERY NICE , WE HAD ONE WITH A SMALL BALCONY VIEW ON THE RVER AND BRIDGE , NICE KITCHEN , ROOMS ARE IN OLD BEAUTIFUL BUILDINGS AND DECORATED WITH TASTE MODERN CONFORT , VERY NICE CONTRAST

THE RESTAURANT USED TO BE VERY NICE HAS WE STAID 2 TIMES AT THIS HOTEL BUT LAST TIME WAS TERRIBLE AND EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU GET , SEVERAL TABLES SEND BACK THEY PLATES , THE SERVERS WERE OVERWHELMED SO VERY BAD SERVICE , WE LEARNED THAT THE PLACE HAD CHANGE CHEF AFTERWORDS SO THAT EXPLAINS THAT IT WENT FROM A CULINARY GASTRONOMIC EXPERIENCE TO A VERY POOR QUALITY PLACE , GO ELSEWHERE FOR DINNING

Aubusson is a great destination - a 'real' French town with many historic features, set in a lovely valley. The apartment has recently been refurbished and is all very modern. It was warm and has great facilities. We were in the historic building (much nicer than the one in most of the photos) with a view of the river, bridge and clocktower, which was fabulous. Its Wifi was okay, even though we didn't pay for the upgrade to better wifi. Having access to the private carpark was a great bonus - it would have been very difficult to park anywhere else and was worth the extra 11 euro.

It would have been good to be able to book the parking place and get the code ahead of time. We had to find temporary parking (quite difficult) until we knew where to find/how to access the private parking area. We also had to wait outside in the rain for about 15 minutes while we waited for the receptionist to arrive, even though we had informed them that we would arrive between 3 and 4. It wasn't easy to find the reception office, so a comprehensive list of instructions really needs to be provided to save angst on arrival. We were above the restaurant, which meant we had a great view, but it may have been noisy had the restaurant been open (though the windows are double-glazed).

The apartment was sparkling clean, brand new yet it still had the charm of an old local house. Really nicely renovated. The lady who took care of us was extremely nice and helpful. She made our stay really easy and enjoyable.

First of all the young ladies at the reception are so sweet and very patient with my less than good French. The owner is an interior designer and it shows in everything. Stylish and they have my absolute favorite soaps at the hotel.

Outstanding location in Aubusson. Beautiful and interesting interior design and very well equipped. A perfect example of how old buildings can be sympathetically and carefully restored and repurposed.

We didn’t have access to email until we arrived and so did not receive the check in instructions in time so make sure you check this prior to arrival as it was a little stressful on arrival.

Very tastefully renovated rooms with super kitchen area, with coffee pod maker, dishwasher, and oven. Very comfortable bed.

It was warm, so had the fan on over night, but there was a loud clicking noise when the fan was on that kept me awake.
