The hotel is in the centre of town and is a traditional style hotel. The host was friendly and efficient and let us in before the 5pm reception time. There was a locked garage for our bikes. The room was small but renovated, comfortable and clean. We ate at the restaurant attached to the hotel and the meaty food was fine but the vegetarian food was disappointing. Breakfast was plentiful and good. There was a coffee machine in the room.

I’d prefer china cups in the room for tea and coffee making.

Comfortable hotel with restaurant on site, serving dinner & breakfast. Located centrally in Auxonne with parking available in the square outside (although only available for a limited time during the daytime parking restrictions).

Restaurant only opened at 7pm (which whilst not unreasonable, isn't the most convenient for travelling with young children).

Easy access Center of town. Parked in road under arch to right of hotel. Triple Room 1 flight up was convenient. Very good breakfast for 22 euros for family of 4.

Restaurant was nice, good staff, not convinced that the food hadn’t been prepared in advance which takes the flavour out of it, but is now a common practice in France as elsewhere.

We arrived by Bicycle having cycled for 5hrs in the rain. The staff were great and got our bikes stored securely. Thanks to all, as it would have been easy to be less accommodating, sorry about all the wet towels.

Lovely old hotel in the centre of a small, pretty town. Very easy to find, close to the motorway. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We had a good dinner and breakfast there.

There wasn't a lift so the hotel would suit anyone with mobility problems.

Fantastic location in a beautiful town above a great looking restaurant. We arrived at 11pm as it was an overnight stop for us. I wish we’d arrived earlier to explore the town as it looked lovely, and the restaurant below the rooms looked great too. Pillows weren’t very comfy and the fan was loud but apart from that it was great- clean etc

Beautiful historical town, with the hotel located with a great view of the church square. Very nicely done rooms, fully equipped. Great restaurant with good food and super nice service. Run by a young entrepreneur.

Small hotel situated in the very heart of town. No private parking but plenty of parking on the street outside. The room was comfortable and clean. The real surprise and bonus was the restaurant downstairs in the hotel. The food was absolutely first class and probably the best we had on our trip through France into Italy. Auxonne is just 10/15 minutes off the motorway and the overall price/quality of the hotel and restaurant justifies coming a few miles off the motorway.

Nothing to dislike - other than it rained a little the day we arrived!!

Very nice personell. Small rooms but comfortable beds to sleep in. Just sufficient for a sleepover. But no complaints, really. Super breakfast for cheap. (We were 3 adults with 2 children 15 and 11 and paid 6 Euros for a VERY nice breakfast). Very good restaurant in the evening. Practically no vegetarian options. But for meat eaters: very tasty and almost fancy dishes. Relaxed atmosphere.
