We had a comfortable room with sufficient space and a good shower. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The lovely beach was about ten minutes walk away, with walks through pine groves behind it. The old town is also about ten minutes easy walk.

A general point - local hotels and the tourist office should do more to inform visitors that the train does not run to Calvi station, but to the previous (beachside) station at Calvi Talle. Not a problem if you know beforehand, but very bewildering if you don't!

The hotel location is very good, but the given adress was untraceable by our GPS. Once in Calvi we contacted the hotel by phone and was informed that the hotel is located on a street without a name, so we were given some directions but still spent quite some time searching for the hotel by car and by foot. A hotel sign on the main street would be helpful, as other neighbouring hotels have placed. The only sign we found was for Hotel Casa Bianca, without any mention of Best Western.

We had room 12 on the third floor with the terrace with a water view, which enabled us to host our 5 fellow travellers for pre-dinner drinks and was very spacious all round. The room and bed was very comfortable, clean and bright, with a coffee machine and separate bathroom and toilet. A minor leak from the shower was remedied the same day it was raised and the matter was dealt with easily and with grace by madam, who made everything simple. on top of all that, the location is fantastic - easy walking to the marina area, beach and citadel.

There were two downsides to our fabulous terrace and eastern views. Firstly, there is no shade for sitting outside, so it was too hot and bright to sit outside in the middle of the day, though the evenings were lovely. Secondly, the curtains are not blockout material, so for those who wake with the light, it was an early wake up to the sunrise each morning. Blockout material would also assist with managing heat entering and escaping via the windows. These issues will be less important to some and in winter.

The quiet ocation is just a short flat walk into the old town and port - private parking - Room 12 in the annexe is huge and superbly equipped - large terrace overlooking the town - wonderful !

Nothing at all

This is a very good, straightforward hotel - nothing really fancy, it has everything you need for a comfortable overnight stay.

A lift to the first floor would have been great (the site made it completely clear there wasn’t one).

The best part of this hotel is it's location. It's only a few minutes walk from the beach and Calvi town, where there are many nice restaurants and bars. The rooms aree spacious and there is free parking. The staff made us feel at home.

Quality of cleaning is not uniform. Sometimes the room was spotless clean, sometimes less so. The shower is too tight, and the whole bathroom gets flooded with water after each shower. The guests arriving late can be quite disturbing, especially if your room is on the first floor (there is no elevator)

The location of the hotel was perfect. Both the town centre/harbour front and the beach were easily accessible by foot. The staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous. Our room was very spacious and comfortable and included a balcony with table, chairs and sun loungers. There were two swimming pools, indoors and outdoors.

The breakfasts were a little disappointing. Not a wide choice compared to many similar establishments and served in a cold room. Other than this we were extremely happy with this hotel.

Very central location but at the sime time silent and peaceful. You can reach Calvi centre in 2 minutes by walk. Deep cleanliness and breakfast is rich and super good quality with typical products of the territory.

The Wi-Fi quality was very poor

Great location and a beautiful view from the room. Friendly staff. Free parking. Calvi is a great place to stay with lots to see and do.

No lift so it was a struggle to carry two large suitcases up two flights of stairs but we were warned of this in advance. Also no terrace with our room, which was a shame.

Nice location, a few meters away central town, harbor et beach, without noise. Large room, good breakfast around the swimming pool. Parking available at extra cost.
