Our three- day stay at La Magnolia was the highlight of our week long visit to Corsica. The location was perfect. Close to shopping, beaches and hiking. For being right in the middle of the city, our room was very quiet and also quite comfortable. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. The property was beautiful with it's quaint restaurant, blooming magnolias, gardenias, bougainvillea and more. On our last night we treated ourselves to dinner at La Magnolia. What an absolutely delightful and delicious experience.

We liked everything! My husband and I did not know what to expect as it was the only hotel in center of town (we had a long holiday around Corsica staying in 5 different hotels) but it turned out to be the most charming and authentic boutique hotel! This hotel felt a bit like a time machine but with all the modern conveniences.

It does not have parking but the Citadel parking is less than 5min walk away so it was not a problem for us even with the bags.

The best small hotel on our two-week European trip. The staff were caring, and really went out of their way to accommodate our special requests. The Superior Twin room was spacious and sound-proofed, and the enclosed terrace below the huge magnolia tree was delightful for the excellent buffet breakfast, and for relaxing. It's in the centre of the old part of town, around the corner from restaurants, shops, the train station and the harbour. Paid parking is 200m away below the fortress (use the one with the barrier, which has much better rates than street parking).

Modern technology... we couldn't get the skylight to open with the wifi remote, but it was also quiet enough outside to sleep with the side windows open.

Perfect location - in the middle of Calvi old city. Very nice staff. Wonderful classical ambiente in this old, but stylish house - breathing good old times. Nostalgy! Great Breakfast, also.

Nothing. Except: You have to park your car near the citadelle on a public (and paying) parking lot. Around 17 Euro the day. But only 5 min walk to the Magnolia

Charming place, with excellent Restaurant on the property — Suburb dinner, and breakfast was delightful on shaded patio setting with lovely ambience. Within site of the town church, lovely bells ringing on the hour. Location in the city is excellent for walking to everything. Some noise at night from nearby nightclubs — summer partying in full swing. Staff was very helpful at all times.

Room was small, noise in the area from nightclubs (didn’t wake up, but when waking up naturally at 3 am the clubs were still going strong). But it was all still very charming and comfortable.

Extremely convenient in the centre of old town just steps away from most of the shops and restaurants. Comfortable room with modern furnishings and all facilities. Reverse cycle air-conditioning was good for the cold night. There was even a heater in the bathroom.

Room quite small but space is at a premium in the old city. A little troublesome to find, a map app is recommended. Breakfast a bit pricey.

Utterly charming place located close to all the shopping, restaurants, the port and the beautiful beaches. No car necessary for all this once you’re at the hotel. We stayed in recently renovated room overlooking the garden on the ground floor. Spacious, clean and quiet. Fantastic shower with great pressure, and tiny floor tiles so no chance of slipping. The staff could not be more helpful. Very accommodating to everything. We stayed a week and wished it could have been longer!

The hotel is superb, the architecture inside and in the rooms is magnificent. Location is close to absolutely everything. You are in the heart of calvi.

The first room we got was noisy, the party people went on all night long, i could literally sing along and dance from the luxury of my own bed. The staff was very gentle,and able to accommodate us in a quiter room the following night. So we were very grateful,otherwise the rooms are magnificent, and you feel a french elegant style, that makes your stay quite unique

Lovely room in a very picturesque and colonial style hotel. Friendly staff ready to accommodate you in the best way possible. Comfy bed, room a bit small but full of charm. Position is perfect in the centre of Calvi with everything at walking distance. Would recommend!

Modern hotel in a charming older building. If you are car-free, it’s a great location on a pedestrian street near the harbor. We had a very agreeable dinner in their garden courtyard restaurant.

Bike storage in a corner of their enclosed but outdoor courtyard was ok, but not as secure as a locked room or garage.
