The location of this hotel is superb--it's right in the middle of town so you can walk everywhere easily. Keep in mind that you'll have to pay for parking in the public lot, and if you go out during the day, you might have to wait a while for a space to open up. However, I never had to wait more than 15 minutes. The staff was very friendly, and the room was comfortable, if a little dark. The breakfast buffet was good, though I think a bit pricey for what was on offer.

As I mentioned, the room was a bit dark. I work while I travel, and it was darker at the desk than than I'd like, even with the desk lamp on. I ate at the hotel restaurant one night, and while the seafood platter appetizer was good (you can't really mess up steamed shrimp and raw oysters), the main dish (sea bass) wasn't great. For the price, I'd have expected a bit better.

We chose a bedroom over looking the courtyard, which was quiet , as requested The double bed was adequate , but on the small side A kettle and coffee making facilities would have been welcome as we had an early start In hindsight a room over looking the sea with a balcony would have been a better option for us

What a location! Beautiful French Town, perfect if you're travelling to or from St Malo's ferry. The view is spectacular, the nightlife is perfect. Best meal of our holiday, shellfish overlooking the sea. Staff were very kind and opened breakfast early so that we could leave in time for our early ferry home.

Room was very small. Only street parking for our motorcycles (although they were still there in the morning and the town felt very safe and friendly)

Fantastic location in the bay of the charmante village of Cancale. We had a beautiful view on the promanade with the many small restaurants. People were very kind an helpful. The menu of the restaurant is very good price vs quality. Cancal is a very good place if you like to visit Mont Saint-Michel, Saint-Malo, Dinan, Diard, Dol-de-Bretagne, Fort La Latte, Pointe du Grouin, ...

Breakfast was very good, but not much variation if you stay multiple days.

Our stay was great! The hotel is very very nice and right on the seaside. Rooms are spacious and the view is super. Staff is respectful and helpful. Would come again. The restaurant is nice but, in my opinion, not as good as the hotel (I would reccomand cooked fish while oysters were good but not great - the check was okay but I wouldn’t say cheap)

Great location for us. Close to parking and our favourite restaurant. Lovely views. Lift is now essential for us. Great breakfast.

Next time I shall bring my own pillow as the hotel pillows are too soft for me. Would be nice to have a kettle in the room so we can make a cup of tea! (We would bring our own tea bags and milk) It’s an English Thing!!!

The room is not huge but claasic french hotel with resonable facilitie sand a spectatcular view. Restaurant was superb and I think great value aspecially the set menus. The seafood is unparallelled.

Parking is tricky but not insurmountable. Otherwise no faults. We loved it.

Such a charming hotel and an excellent seafood restaurant. The staff are so welcoming and the food is wonderful. The location right on the quay is perfect.

You have to be careful about when to arrive during the July and August periods if you want to secure a nearby parking space. We came at the end of the afternoon when the day visitors were leaving and before the evening diners arrived and were able to get a place in the car park next to the hotel. By 7pm people were queuing to get in tot he car park, waiting for slots to become available

Small seaside hotel right on the promenade close to the restaurants and activities. Breakfast was an additional cost but good value for money. Good access by car and bike to surrounding beaches and historical sites.

It was very difficult to get parking close by however we were able to pull in briefly at the promenade to drop bags. As we had a roof box we couldn’t park at any of the seafront car parks due to the barriers and all were extremely busy also. We parked about 10 minutes walk away.
