The self-check-in process was quick and easy, easy to understand, and my room surprised me greatly! It wasn't large and had a ridiculously small window, but it was warm, no frills, and quite clean. I was especially surprised by how clean the bathroom was and how comfortable the bed was. I slept very well; the duvet was very warm, and the sheets smelled wonderful! A late checkout until noon and having a microwave and coffee machines and snacks available at any time of day were also appreciated. The location is simply good; there are bus stops a 5-minute walk away with direct lines to the city center throughout the day, and a small shopping center literally next door to the hotel. There are a few tourist information leaflets available at the breakfast area.

I received a terrible, almost nonexistent service from the staff, and I was expecting a much worse stay to be honest. I couldn't have breakfast in the morning and very reduced selection of snacks and drinks after hours.

Excellent self service breakfast with plenty of choice of cereals, bread, croissants etc plus scrambled eggs and bacon (bacon too undercooked for my personal choice). Excellent coffee machine produced tasty HOT drinks plus range of teabags. There were also yoghurt and some fresh apples. The bathroom had a very good hot shower, small but quite adequate.

Didn't really like the location of the hotel although it was very convenient just off the main road into St Malo before turning off towards the port area. Without satnav and zipcode it could have been tricky to find with just the number?

The staff were very friendly and so helpful. We could bring our dog too unlike most other hotels in the town... The rooms were basic but so clean and comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The breakfast was awesome, best we have had in a hotel in this price range. Location next to a supermarket and we could eat our own food in the evening in the breakfast area. Perfect place to stay and only 10 minutes drive to the ferry terminal. Great end to our holiday... thanks so much!

Close to the park & ride where we had left our car after arriving on the ferry that morning Reception staff helpful and polite Lift available to upper floors Free car parking available outside the hotel Room was clean, comfortable and quiet Thanks to a recommendation from another reviewer, we walked to the nearby Frango chicken restaurant, which was delicious (less than 15 minutes, there was also parking outside) Good value for money

Room was small, but nice and clean. It was 35-40 minutes walk to the port and city centre. Check in was easy even though we arrived when the reception was closed. Lot of parking spaces around the accommodation. Breakfast was fine. We were satisfied.

We have difficulties to lock the room number 79 when we were leaving for the city and it was not possible to lock it for the night when we were in. Maybe the door needs to be fixed.

Ideal stopping off point before catching our ferry home. Straightforward with helpful staff (via the intercom). Clean and well appointed room with cool mezzanine that the kids found really exciting. That's it!

The code didn't work when we arrived so had to buzz the intercom. Very polite member of staff (who spoke excellent English) sorted it all out though. No other issues that spring to mind. All good. Keep typing?

We had difficulties accessing the property. We used our surname and booking.com booking id without success. We tried this several times and failed each time. There were 2 other groups of guests having the same problem. The “on site” help arrived - they had a guest list for the night and our names were on the list. They said there had been issues with an it upgrade, however until we had proved prepayment (a condition of our booking) we were not given access to our rooms. The last thing we needed late at night after a long journey from the Uk.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was also excellent. Breakfast was adequate..... The cooked food was a bit like airline food.

There was no tea / coffee facilities in the room. The access code given when arriving out of hours didn't indicate that the code was our room entry code.....A message was given that the room access code had been emailed to my account, which I did not have access too whilst in France. The 'Help' button put us straight through to a helpdesk who were able to assist.

The location and the free parking were the main ressons we chose the hotel. Perfect for a 2nights stay and also convenient for driving around the area, without entering the city center. There is also an option to use public transport to get to the city centre, we however didn't use. We also didn't take breakfast.

The rooms are quiet noisy, you hear all sounds from all other guests around your room, in our case quite noisy group of youngsters.

It was fine for a one night stay, room a bit basic, quite dark and the only window opened out onto the landing serving several other rooms and the desk was under the window so you couldnt leave the window open and things on the desk. Breakfast was fine, the room was crowded the first time I went but half an hour later it was quiet, pleanty of choice of food and all good

Just the window/landing situation mentioned above but dont see how it could be improved given the room layout
