We had a wonderful welcome, our room was ready early so we could check in earlier. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable and a lovely French window. Breakfast was provided by the owner who took great pride in the preparation with homebaked treats and jams and freshly squeezed orange juice. There is good parking available and very secure.

Whilst it is a 2km walk to the old town, there is still plenty of shopping in the local area. It would have been lovely to have had a small bar area to enjoy a nightcap at the end of the day but that is not a big issue just an observation.

The building is historic and charming, in a quiet street with an easy walk to the sea front of St Servan and accessible to the high street shops and facilities.. The entrance hall and dining area retain some of the history. We found the staff members helpful and attentive. Our room was spotless, quiet, and comfortable. We recommend the breakfast which varied daily with breads, pastries, yoghurt, fruit, cake, fresh juice, cheese, ham, jams and a choice of drinks. All nicely served and presented. There is a small rear garden which is pleasant to sit in.

Though our room was comfortable, The Garden Room (Longchamp), it was modern in decoration and furnishings with no reference to the historical charm of the building..

The hotel is an old mansion particularly well kept and equipped with modern comfort. Our room was charming and functional. Our king-size bed was a very comfortable. The localisation requires a bit of walking or taxi to the main sites but it's due to the fact that it sits in a superb and very quiet residential area. Breakfast was excellent with home made items. Last but not least the owners are often around and more than willing to help you.

Bathrooms are on the small side but nonetheless sufficient.

We loved this house which is typical of the beautiful French houses in this genteel neighbourhood. Our room had a double bed and sofa with coffee table in plus coffee and tea facilities which we appreciated. It is a short walk to Quail Solidor where there is a good selection of eateries and breakfast was very nicely served by the owners. We only stayed one night on our way to Jersey but we were made very welcome. In fact we had time to kill before our ferry and the owners offered us to leave our car in their free car parking space all morning, which was very kind. Especially since we returned to find an item of clothing I had left in our room, thoughtfully wrapped in a bag and hanging from our car. Thank you!

Nothing to dislike, except that the shower/ wc was a bit of a tight squeeze with a door that didn’t fully close right next to the bed.

Staff were courteous and helpful in every way. Breakfast was excellent (aren't there any gluten-intolerant French people?) with delicious breads, juices, fruit, yoghurt, ham and cheese and coffee, all presented on a beautifully-laid table with fine china. Our room, though very small, was fine for a one-night stay - quiet, overlooking the garden, with an efficient bathroom - good shower, too. Fab to be able to park off the road in the courtyard in front of the house.

The only downside was the room was rather small, but it was only for one night to be ready for the ferry the next morning. I'm sure, had we been staying longer, we could have requested, and been given, a larger room.

Lovely, helpful, friendly, caring and attentive owners. Spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished, beautiful house in a quiet, upmarket residential area within walking distance of the sea.

Parking was fine for us, but could be an issue for people with restricted mobility, as sometimes parking on the street was necessary and not always available very close to the hotel.

Stayed here for one night on the way from Rennes to the ferry. Did not have breakfast as we were booked on the morning ferry. Its a lovely hotel with lots of character. Nice comfortable beds and nice bathroom if small. Rooms have tea and coffee making facilities which is unusual on the Continent. There is not much to do in the vicinity as the hotel is situated in a residential area, so its best to drive to the town centre in 10 minutes, which is just past the ferry port. The car parks do get quite busy in the town centre though, even on a Sunday in November when we visited. There are plenty of eating places in the town centre but its best to check the restuarant reviews on Trip Advisor first. The staff were very welcoming and the rooms are all named after racecourses.

The car park entrance is very narrow so its best to park in one of the free bays in the road outside. The area seems very safe so this is not a problem.

Exceptionally friendly welcome and service throughout. Comfortable and quiet room with a good view out the back. Great breakfast served with a smile. We will definitely return.

This will not apply to everyone and is not a crticism of the Hotel but it can be a little tricky getting into the parking area as the gates are not very wide. More than one driver, me included(!), has scraped one or both of them. Traffic was busy because there were roadworks elsewhere that fed into the road so turning in had to be done with care.

The hotel is a beautiful building, and has been restored really nicely by the owners. Our room was on the top floor but was large and comfy with a decent bathroom and great storage in both rooms, which was good as we were there for a week with a baby and plenty of stuff! The garden is heavenly and we had breakfast outside every day, and also really enjoyed using it for lunch and dinner occasionally, as we found that the restaurants didn’t start serving dinner early enough to fit in with baby. The owners are completely charming and told us to treat it like home, and it actually felt like we could, which we really appreciated! We hope to return.

We liked everything! The hairdryer in the bathroom is not the best though…
