We thought they got everything 100% right at this small city hotel. We couldn't hope to have encountered more friendly, professional or helpful staff anywhere. Nothing was too much trouble from sightseeing advice (after a day exploring the old town, take a boat over the river for a different aspect and compare Belle Époque architecture to the post WW2 reconstructed Saint-Malo Intra Muros) to recommending and booking local restaurants to making sure we sampled all local specialities in the breakfast spread. They didn't even laugh at my franglais before diplomatically switching into excellent English. The rooms were tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, had comfortable double beds and the shower was excellent. The hotel is also unusually flexible on taking a late breakfast and checking out later in the morning - great after a tiring journey the day before. Thank you Hôtel Bristol Union!

Amazing Stay with Excellent Service! Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of amazing! The customer service was top-notch from start to finish. A special shoutout to Marc, who was incredibly sweet and helpful throughout our visit. The receptionist was also fantastic, providing us with all the information we needed about the town, making our trip even more enjoyable. The entire experience was wonderful, and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Everything about our stay was perfect—no complaints at all.

not the cheapest place we stayed, this place def treated us well. we had already booked one night previously, but when our ferry to Guernsey was cancelled, i called them and they worked out a room arrangement on short notice. we were able to stay 2 nights w/o switching rooms. owners and managers were top flight and also very nice. breakfast (also extra) was delicious and in a very nice breakfast room. lots of homemade goodies and personal touches. this is an outstanding boutique hotel in St Malo (which is probably FULL of outstanding boutique hotels). I would HIGHLY recommend St Malo anyway. we didn't do much research on this town. prob the best shopping and restaurant choices in our entire trip.

a little tricky getting our heavy bikes up and down the winding stairs into the basement, but i was happy they had a secure indoor space to put them.

We arrived on evening ferry from Jersey and decided to spend a night in the small boutique hotel situated in the heart of this beautiful walled city. We were warmly greeted in arrival and were very happy with our comfortable well appointed room overlooking a small square. The continental breakfast the next morning was good in a compact space.

One observation is that we should have closed the window as we did hear the noise from late night revellers and the local businesses setting up early the next morning. Also, there is no parking in the walled city and there is plenty of car parking outside although choose where you park carefully; we parked in the underground car park which was expensive; we paid €23 for 12 hours overnight.

We arrived late number they sent us was easy to get in our room and hotel door. Staff next morning very helpful couldn’t do enough to help use very good hotel clean very easy to find from ferry.

Very good location inside the walls of the town. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, from initial welcome at reception to breakfast service and check-out. Our room was an ok size and was clean and nicely decorated. Bathroom a bit small, but fine. The breakfast was very good, with a good mix of options, and the service very smiley and welcoming. The hotel is in a great spot from which to walk and explore the town. Overall, a good hotel, lovely staff and excellent location.

The location is perfect and right in the middle of the city. The Service and staff are amazing and very friendly. They helped us a lot with some recommendations for buses to go to the sentier des douaniers and restaurants. The room is clean and nice. We did not try the breakfast, but it seemed quite simple.

Not much to say except that the room is not extraordinary. It is quite normal for the price you pay. But everything else is great.

We had an amazing time staying with my 2 kids! The location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants, shops, laundry, beach, and public transportation! The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to provide information about activities and help us get taxis. They even went the extra mile to get us an adapter to meet our needs. And the breakfast - wow! It was an incredible spread of delicious French breakfast items. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I like the location. I like the breakfast and staff very polite and helpful. Good breakfast choice.

The room was a bit noisy from outside elevator. And also from other rooms. Another thing- the ventilation I think in the morning start from themselves. I try to turn it on on the evening but doesn’t worked. Maybe is something automatic. It’s just a feedback not a complain, just for future for a people who traveling like me over a 1000km a day they would like a bit more quiet room.

The staff, the location, the facilities. We loved this hotel, the staff provided the most amazing recommendations of what to do and where to eat that ended up being fabulous! They also made sure we knew the tide times (which are very important to plan your day) every morning which was so helpful. The location is perfect, right in intra muros and easy to access from the public parkings just outside (4 minute walk) The hotel was very clean, the room was nice and the bathroom was great!

Not many sockets and no charging ports in the room.
