Location was excellent. Room very spacious and clean, nice toiletries in the bathroom. All of the staff bar one were extremely pleasant and helpful. There was a fridge and kettle in the room, and we could have our dog with us. We have stayed here before, and it is a very comfortable hotel.

No onsite parking for vehicles > 2m in height, which makes it complicated to stay here if you have a roof box on the car. The solution offered - parking in a locked facility elsewhere- was not optimal, as you ostensibly can't get your car out before 9.30 am!! So bad luck if you need to catch a ferry early. We had this issue, and it caused massive stress on the day we were leaving.

Perfect location, right in the centre of Saint-Malo. It’s under new management and was a lot better than last year. They have scrapped the two-tier breakfast which had irritated us enormously in previous years and it was now a single price, quite pricey but you could have loads, including some cooked items. Our room was great, overlooking the Grand Rue and close to the ramparts and cathedral. The beds were superb, so comfortable, and the double glazing was extremely efficient in keeping out any noise. Also, a little touch that rarely exists was that there were individual little bottles of shampoo etc which was nice.

The only thing to grizzle about was that we’ve had a separate shower in the past but this room only had a shower over the bath and this is never as good

The room was in a great condition, the bed was extremely comfortable, the AC was working perfectly, the blinds blocked out the light very well, and despite the hotel being in the city centre the room was very quiet (we didn't hear a single sound). We also appreciated that the shower had excellent water pressure, and they offer nice toiletries (including conditioner (not just shampoo) and a lotion). Breakfast was very good, great choices. Staff were very nice and accomodating.

Since it's in the centre of Saint-Malo, accessing the hotel by car was tricky with a larger vehicle. If you do have a bigger car, would suggest parking in the nearby public parking lots, rather than trying to use their private parking (which is cheaper anyway).

Love the location and parking within intra muros. So convenient! You are right in the thick of it Also friendly helpful staff. Great coffee machine and toiletries etc. This is our second stay

We stayed for one night at the end of a busy holiday and a busy day in St.Malo, so with two exhausted children we had food in the room in the evening and wanted to let them watch a little TV and relax, but unfortunately the TV is not connected to the internet despite having apps you can see on it like Netflix, Disney etc. We checked this with Reception too. Only French TV, which is disappointing for the price you pay for a family room. Modern hotels usually have TVs with internet access. We didn't have breakfast but the breakfast room looked lovely.

The staff were excellent from booking to check out. Friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel was clean and well appointed and our rooms were lovely. The breakfast was also great and for us well worth having. If we stayed longer we'd have ventured out on other days.

Driving to the hotel was a challenge, its in the historic walled part and the roads are very small and in places look like pedestrian only! Once we called the hotel for help they were fantastic, but some guidance in advance would have been really helpful.

Everything was brilliant i cant wait to return as i couldnt fault it. The staff were really the stand out. So kind helpful and it made for a great stay.

This is really minor and not a complaint really but as we all know cars and parking are always a pain and its a walled city with carparks and the hotel had there own so this was great,if this was perhaps £10 a night Rather than £30 it would take the sting out if we wanted to stay for 3-4 nights you do have to put the car into the budget where ever we stay nowadays especially saint-malo. Free parking would make this place outstanding..

We loved the location and the style of the building and surrounding streets. The Hotel Is located inside the Old City Walls and just a short walk from the Marina and parking area. This parking can be busy but we parked in underground parking until later at night , then moved to street level parking . I would advise travellers to google parking before checking in as driving to Hotel will be difficult during busy times .

The location was great. Easy to find and made a great base for a two night stay. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice from fresh fruit and yogurt to Cold meats and cheeses with a choice of butters and breads and then different sweet treats to finish off. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the room was clean with a comfortable bed, air conditioning and great toiletries.

Very centrally located with a lovely modern vibe.

The room layout was a little odd. The ensuite didn’t have a loo. This was in a separate room on the opposite side of the bedroom very close to the bed. You had to cross over through the bedroom to wash your hands. The room would suit a solo traveller but for friends it was a little awkward at times.

Wow! The location, it’s just a stunning place, it’s a lovely little hotel, very clean, just what you needed for a short stay, very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend it.

Not a big issue but because the toilet in our room was separate from the bathroom, it could use some hand gel maybe because there’s no sink to wash your hands, but apart from that a perfect little place to stay.
