Great location near the train station, but also only a 20ish minute stroll to the old town. Room was cozy, my son loved the tiny balcony to step outside, bathroom had good shower with lovely shampoo/shower gel.

Not so much a didn't like, more a new experience - no staff anywhere, all properly contactless... We got there well before 4pm, were tired, it was hot and all we wanted was to leave our stuff, get changed etc but we had to wait as our door code didn't work yet. Once we could enter, we were all fine Be aware: it's some three steps up from the road, and then to get to the rooms, all stairs (the first set pretty long and steep). Luckily we were travelling fairly light, but with larger cases, this might be tricky.

Chosen as arriving late by train with bikes and close to the railway station. We only needed a clean room and bed for the night. The hotel is not scored very highly on booking.com and we were very pleasantly surprised at how clean it is and the shower/bathroom facilities. Both were much better than we expected and can't be faulted. The staff who phoned us to tell us that we had not completed all payment steps (we thought we had) was most helpful and understanding. She also advised us that there was nowhere to leave our bikes (we had hoped that there was) but that we could leave them in bike storage at the railway station, just over the road. We would happily return for a short stay.

We would have liked to have kept our bikes safely at the hotel but the lady was clear that this was not possible and that this was clearly informed to booking.com and the property details on the website. As said, she helpfully suggested a convenient alternative.

The room was clean. Basic necessities were provided (towels, shower gel, hair dryer, tea/coffee, pillows and bedsheets). 24h/7j telephone service to contact in case of emergency.

Physical reception could have been much better to contact in case of emergency. Because I saw a car with 2 men staying in front of the hotel everytime I go in and out 3 times in 3 hours. Though telephonic service was assuring, talking to real people about the situation could be even more assuring for the safety.

A great place to stay when you want to enjoy a weekend in Saint Malo but don't want to break the bank on hotel costs. Only a short walk from intramuros AND only a few hundred meters from the train station in the other direction AND a short walk from the restaurants on the Sillion. So close enough for everything you would like to do in Saint Malo.

Some of the decoration needs a face-lift but the bathroom and bed we quite nice and just what I needed. I don't go to Saint Malo to spend time in a hotel.

Location : Close to the train station is convenient if you arrive late or leave early. And not far from the center or beach. Price Clean Quiet

The smell downstairs (but happily not in the rooms upstairs) No Satellite channels as advertised. Just the TV, but to make it work you need your own subscription (like Netflix) and your own Mobile Internet. Can be annoying if you have children :)

I had a very happy stay at the Brittanic! The check-in was very easy, and the staff were readily reachable by phone, and very accommodating when I asked about checking in a little early and leaving a little late. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and located close to the train station, as well as various food options. A very good stay, and a place I'll return to if I find myself back in Saint Malo

Very well equipped room: tea kettle, microwave oven, quite newly renovated bathroom and bath furniture. Comfortable bed.

Wifi signal was quite poor. If you want to watch Youtube or Netflix etc on TV screen, you should make a good effort to connect TV to the internet - would be better if it's been connected already. Would be nice to have coffee maker, since there are no many cafes with GOOD coffee nearby (or I just haven't found them) Room is not big enough - there are not so much space for suitcases and clothes

Great location. 4 min walk from train station and stops for buses. 15 min walk from Intra muros part of the city. A few places to eat nearby. Place was clean. There was a kettle. There is no reception, but administration responded quickly when I had a query before booking.

The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Location is great, near the train station. The room was exactly like the pictures. Very satisfied with my stay.

The room was beautiful! Also the staff is super helpful, we arrived earlier, and the restaurant downstairs can help store the luggage, which was really nice! And the interior in the room is really nice! The bed is really comfortable as well! Had a great night there in saint malo.
