This hotel exceeded our expectations. While the room was a little small and had very limited storage, the arrival welcome and breakfast made up for these minor points. We were greeted by a warm and friendly welcome, which included an offering of a glass of cider, which we greatly appreciated. The breakfast at this hotel was outstanding. It offered a wide selection of teas, delicious breads, pastries spreads, cakes and cheeses. Highlights included the local butter, yoghurt, salted caramel spread and cider-soaked prunes.

The room was small. Parking was difficult, but admittedly we arrived during the summer holidays.

Wonderful, friendly, greeting by the professional Reception lady. She really is a star and was very helpful and kind. The location is really good; just 2 mins walk from the beach and perhaps 10mins walk to the walled city.

The room was rather warm. Parking was a bit chaotic - although this is nothing to do with the hotel; the parking in front/nearby the hotel is all paid public parking and it was completely full upon arrival, with quite a few motorhomes taking up spaces due to the fact that the parking has no height restriction (much of St Malo has height-restricted parking so motorhomes and high vehicles flock to parking spots where they can actually get in)

Centrally located, very close to the beaches, 20min walking from the old town, which is the highlight of this hotel. Modern decoration in the lobby, it has its own restaurant. Nice amenities, the bedroom was very standard, suitable for one night.

The only remark I have is that the room could use an air conditioning, it was very warm. The host provided us a fan, which helped a lot, but we couldn’t put it to swing as it was very noisy.

Wonderful location for walled city and the beach. Really easy to find and parking outside that was cheap and accommodated ourVW camper with bike rack on tow hitch. Lovely small hotel, well appointed clean rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful - special mention to Alice! They even had a very secure garage for us to leave our bikes in over night at a reasonable extra cost. Lovely breakfast.

The hotel downstairs is lovely, really calm vibe. The staff are really kind and offered us a nice juice upon our arrival. The location is brilliant, close to the sea and a short walk to restaurants and shops.

Whilst the downstairs was very aesthetic, the rooms felt quite outdated and need some TLC. The rooms were also quite small and could do with some extra cleaning.

Recently rennovated hotel outside the Intra Murros (walled town) which is just a 10 minute walk away. Rooms are quite small but everything worked well. Close to the beach and overlooking one of the quays. There is secure bike storage for an extra charge. Nice breakfast and a complimentary glass of either Breton cider or apple juice on arrival.

Nice welcome from the lady on the front desk. Very clean room and comfy bed. Room was small and has no tea or coffee making facilities. No air conditioning so had to open window to cool the room.No free little bottles of water as often offered in other hotels. Expensive for what it is but location great.

The price! I accept that it is right in the peak holiday season & hotel prices have gone up everywhere. Nowhere to park in St Malo, we’ve been going there for over 30 years and the parking has got worse.

The design is definitely 100% cool fresh nice and cheerful. One of the best colors match I’ve seen in the hotels. Everything is very clean extremely new and fresh. Nice soap in the bathroom. Nice location. Very friendly staff. Our stay was wonderful there

The room had everything we needed except a kettle. There was no kettle or hot drink making facility in the room. However, a kettle was provided when we requested hot water. We had brought our own tea and coffee so we were happy with that response. The location is very good - a view of the harbour and just round the corner from the beach. About 10 minutes from the old town, on foot. Excellent paid, public parking is one minute from the hotel, across the road. The staff are very pleasant and helpful.

Breakfast started too late for us (7.30) as we needed to get going for the ferry. It would have been better if breakfast had been available from 7 am. However as we hadn't paid for breakfast we did not lose out.
