Parking wasn't avaliable as we hadn't reserved. It was luck that we got a space directly behind the hotel for free so saved 20€ But beware it was luck to get a space on a high season weekday .So we left the car and took the bus out of town. Not especially good value - room was really small. More what you'd expect from some of the budget chains but with a higher price tag.

Very nice hotel, with easy access to the beach. Close to the historical town with lots of places to eat/drink. There is also a Carrefour close by and some boulangeries, if needed. We needed to extend our stay by one night and the hotel charged us the fee from the prior nights (lower rate), even though the prices went up already, which is nice.

The hotel doesn't have its own parking, but we found plenty of street parking. We visited in March, so it was not an issue. I assume in the high season it might be more difficult to find free parking.

The location; the convenience of the rooms; the friendliness of the staff; the infrastructure and the good beds; rooms were very clean; breakfast tome until 10:30 a.m. and the breakfast itself

Some items are broken and should be replaced; like the fan in the bathroom (air circulation); the metalic window stopper was broken; the public toilets were not that clean; it was disturbing that each and every time we were asking for a place in the garage we could not get one; already was the case last year where we stayed in that place longer than this time due to our different vacation journey

The hotel is a one minute walk to the beautiful Sillon Beach. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. We arrived several hours early and asked to use the washroom and leave our luggage in. The receptionist checked on our room and found that it was ready and he checked us in, we were most grateful for this - thank you again. Our room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom, while compact, was modern and had everything we needed. This is our second stay in the hotel and I would highly recommend it.

- giant, super comfortable bed - Rituals products - big walk-in shower - free WiFi without password - multilingual TV channels - breakfast room with sea view - check-out by 12pm - beautiful beach right in front of the hotel - walking distance to intra muros - free parking nearby (6min walking distance)

- The main doors didnt automatically open (which is a little bit annoying when you carry much luggage) - the guest booklet mentioned a snackbar/snack menu but there was only a vending machine with drinks and sweets - everything seems a little old/ could use a "make-over"

Room was good - would have liked a bit more space as 1 traveller was a wheelchair user - it's a good job that it is a small chair. Bathroom was pretty good but a drop down rail by the side of the toilet would be an improvement. Staff - Teddy on reception when we arrived was excellent. He spotted I had a minor cut and delivered first aid immediately, booked us in and then promptly got an extra pillow when requested. Breakfast was very good.

As above, more space for a wheelchair accessible room and a drop down rail by the toilet.

The hotel is at the St Malo city end of the Sillon, a wide promenade above a beautiful sandy beach. It's easy to walk into the walled city, and to walk on the Sillon and beach. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything was clean and well maintained. Breakfast had a lot of choice of good quality food. We had a very large double bed, which was very comfortable. There is a bar in reception with plenty of room and good seating.

Great location, massive bed, fortifying breakfasts (and first class example of customer service in the dining room). Staff were multi-lingual and very approachable and friendly.

Bedroom had a huge bed, and it was beautifully clean . . . but. There was very limited storage for luggage and the shower room (toilet was separate) was tiny and the towels were very quickly damp when drying. (There was limited hanging space so the towels needed replacing on a daily basis

Stayed in sea view family room. Fantastic views. Comfortable clean room. Quiet except occasional road noise with window open. Loved the location 10 minutes from walled city. Expansive views.

Very flat pillows. We were there 2 nights and in hindsight should have asked for more or other pillows. The family rooms was cute with a loft bedroom for the twin beds. The stairs are narrow so just a consideration that if you are not stable walker the stairs could be a challenge.

There were nothing to complain about. The personal at the hotel create a genuin amazing "feel good". Less then 50m to a 1000m wide beach. A 10 minutes walk to the old city. 20m to a bus stop. And a 5* to the community workers and others, what a clean city. We loved everything about Escale Oceania and Saint Malo.

Nothing
