Breakfast was fabulous fresh and good quality produce from the fruit presse to the cheese, meats fruits, freshly baked breads. Coffee was also good and a very stylish dining space fresh and welcoming 😎😎

Only thing was a little too far to walk to the town/port for dinner, so we had to drive daily , parked car park behind the church in the square. Cancale is charming with markets and events, would go back again to Le Chatellier and Cancale ! The review says Daniel but this is Mr and Mrs Rhodes from UK booking.com has it down as Daniel one other thing booking.com say it's a short walk to Cancale sea front etc it is not!! That said would return as hotel is good.

It has a lovely old French feel. A lovely atmosphere. The pretty swimming pool was a good temperature, and there were plenty of loungers. Coffee and tea were available free. There are two hotels and you check in at the other one, but the receptionist was efficient and the system of using a little golf cart to drive you to show you the rooms in le Chatellier was quite fun.

The two sister hotels are about 200m apart, so the pool (and breakfast) are a short walk. We were told firmly that towelling robes were only provided for guests in the main hotel - so you either have to walk back from the pool wrapped in a towel or change awkwardly poolside behind your towel. The room was hot, and having the window open meant occasional car noise in the night. The bed sheets felt quite rough and so we didn’t sleep well.

This is a beautiful house and, although there were other guests, it felt like we had it all to ourselves. Our ensuit bedroom was upstairs but we'd the use of living room and garden area. Breakfast is served in the main hotel down the garden path, past the goats and horses, in a truly gorgeous setting. Food was delicious with many choices of cheese, meat, eggs, breads and sauces/jams. Staff were very helpful and courteous. All in all a fabulous place to stay and priced below what I would have expected to pay for this accommodation.

Lovely building and grounds. The staff were very friendly and it was beautifully clean. The bed was very comfortable.

The room was slightly small but that was ok. There were no curtains and at the front of the property, so spot lights shone in the windows until late at night then daybreak was around 4.30am so darkness was scarce.

No shower. The bath had a hand held shower, which worked well enough but no screen or curtain made it awkward to use.

Great apartment, very confortable, beautifuly decorated and with everything needed in the kitchen. The property is great with animals and a lot of space. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Nothing that can be changed but location is by the road and there is nowhere to go walking. A car is necessary to go to the centre of cancale. Neverthless, it is a convenient stop between Saint Malo and Saint Michel.

This hotel is a gem! It's a huge property with 2 buildings that share the property, reception area, restaurant , pool and hot tub. There is horse property next door with lots of horses and 2 goats. Lots of grassy area for walks and kids to run. We had a prestige room which had a bedroom and a sitting room. It also had a small terrace with table and 2 chairs. It was decorated very shabby chic and it was very appealing. The sitting room had a sofa, desk and TV on top of a small frig. The bed was very comfy and the shower had good pressure. It was close to Cancale and to a large U supermarket. It was a little hard to find because the reception area is not at the building we stayed in. The breakfast buffet was great and had a lot of choices and great coffee. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

The only problem was the bathroom sink was very slow draining. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Everything. So good I stayed an extra night. Located near a beautiful town and within a shirt drive of Saint Malo and Dinan. The staff were so helpful and friendly.

Beautiful property set in stunning grounds. The bed was very comfortable and we found a fan to keep us cool during a couple of very hot nights! The swimming pool and sauna are brilliant, as too are the cocktails and wine selection. Super helpful and friendly staff.

We were based in the part of the hotel near the road which was quiet noisy late at night and early morning. An awkwardly placed orange light facing the property shone directly into the room at night might keep others awake (luckily we had eye masks!)

A well well equipped kitchen, and thoughtfully presented and designed gite, just a year old in renovating an old building. V comfy beds, perfect for a few nights. Small pool but great for throwing a kid in!
