We received a "renovated" room, but it didn't really look like it, so not sure how the unrenovated rooms looked. The room was quite large which was nice. The location is great, we could walk anywhere in a few mins.

The room didn't have a proper hair dryer only a very old plastic tupe that was on the wall which is very ineffective with long hair, takes ages to dry and gets very hot due to the plastic. The windows were facing the street which was unexpectedly noisy (cars, deliveries etc.).:

Lovely hotel and great location, right in the centre and also easy walking distance to the ferry port. Really nice, clean and spacious family room. The room we had was particularly good for us as you had another door from the main part of the room, through to bunk style beds, that meant you had like a little adjoining room, which you can then leave the door open or close.

Just one thing. While they do have disabled access rooms on the ground floor, if you have booked a room on a higher floor and are reliant on the lift for a wheelchair, the lift is very small, which you wouldn't be able to fit most wheelchairs in.

Very good location, am lucky to have the last parking which is 1 minute away. Staff was really helpful and welcoming. Good room even though no kettle or anything else so was quite basic but was okay with that.

The stairs lead to 4th floor is not very friendly, do not suggest people who has mobility issues. the walls are very thin so you can hear people walking by and shutting their doors. A bit over the budget if we include the parking.

The location was very good in the Intra Muros near the cafes and shops etc. Also ideal for walking along the walls and discovering the history of the Town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment on that.

The room was a bit chilly in the evening. A little heating would have helped. Also the old hairdryer in one of our rooms was very hot to touch when in use. Not ideal at all.

I was thinking about giving the place 10 points for everything. And then I heard the noises coming through walls. The street noise is quite well shielded, but the walls between the rooms seem very thin. I could almost understand every word spoken in the bathroom next door and when water was used, it was incredibly noisy. Luckily my neighbours went to bed early-ish. I didn’t try the breakfast, everything else apart from the noise was excellent.

Excellent location. Very central in the old town. The 2 ladies in reception were exceptional- very friendly and helpful. We prebooked parking - that was so worth doing. We were given a lockable garage just up from the hotel which was extremely handy. The bedroom and bathroom were good sizes and clean. Our bedroom was on the third floor (there is a lift) and a little cool but there were extra blankets in the wardrobe. There was a hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge in the room. We would absolutely stay here again.

There was really very little to not like. If I was going to be fussy the breakfast is variable - it was excellent the first morning, but on the second morning there was 1 croissant, 1 pain au chocolat, a few bits of bread and some cold crepes. None of the fruit juice, fruit, cheese, cold meats, eggs etc from the previous day but I suspect the hotel was quiet and the night staff felt it wasn’t worth putting out. Either way it wasn’t worth €14 a head! As soon as there was a change of shift I have to say the lovely lady in reception noticed and quickly found us juice, ham and cheese which was kind and rectified the situation.

The friendliness of the receptionist was refreshing. She was so helpful and always smiling and eager to help. The hotel is wonderfully located near a lovely square. It was very clean. I have no problem recommending this hotel for a couple of days stay in St. Malo.

Made contact with the property as wheelchair user, was offered Garage parking and a ground floor room at extra charge. Access to the hotel to the Garage almost impossible, entrance to hotel not acceptable. Should have been informed that this hotel is not suitable for wheelchair unless you landed outside by helicopter. First time I have had such bad information from a hotel.

The room, the bed and the bathroom, including a very comfortable bathtub, are very spacious. The location is perfect, which is of course also due to the fact that the old town is rather small within the city walls. It is easy to get to the beach from anywhere or to the centre of Saint-Malo. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The hotel and the surrounding area are relatively quiet (which unfortunately cannot be said for the seagulls that make a fuss day and night :D).

The hotel is based in the center of the old city, the area is very scenic. We had a large room, with an extra single bed, which is great for a longer stay.

The fact that the shower head can't be mounted in the wall is annoying.
