The hotel is fantastic with contemporary furniture and a simple but effective layout. The bedroom was very roomy with a good functional setup and the bed was very comfortable with good quality linen. The breakfast was always very nice with plenty of choice of continental and hot options served until 1030 which was an added bonus. The sauna, steam room and pool including jacuzzi and two water jets have recently been refurbished to a very high standard. There is no restaurant as such just a snack option ie pizzas etc. There is a small bar with 3 draught beer options and a decent selection of spirits. There is plenty of car parking spaces on site and the location is just off the main road into St Malo which makes driving around relatively easy. The strength of this hotel is undoubtedly the staff. I have to make a special mention to Aela, Oceane, Laetitia and Cidra (I hope I have spelt these names correctly). All of the staff I encountered were brilliant and very helpful but the 4 mentioned were extra special in there knowledge and helpfulness. They were polite and very keen to help and offer advice when questioned and asked. I have stayed in quite a few hotels over the years and this one is very special. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

nothing absolutely nothing

My experience was delightful, especially comparing with my stay at the same hotel 7 years ago. The improvements have been dramatic. Helpful, friendly staff, a quiet bright beautifully designed interior throughout. My room was spotless and immaculate. The shower and en-suite toilet were first class quality. The furniture in the foyer and entrance to pool was modern and well designed.

I had forgotten my bathing trunks so could not enjoy the use of the pool unfortunately. I took a look at the self service breakfast area and thought that the quality of some of the meats and pastries might possibly be improved. I am a keen amateur cook and adore high quality foods! I was not sure whether a cooked breakfast was available for ordering.

Great choice for travels by car - large free parking, with a lot of space. The hotel itself is very well-maintained and clean. Very friendly staff. Fine breakfast with wide choice of local bakery, cheeses and jams. The room itself is not that big, but the bathroom is spacious, with quality shower. Amazing SPA! Very clean, with fine eucalyptus smell, good wet and dry saunas and large pool. Robe you get on reception for free, towels always available in SPA. Near reception you can always reach hot tea/coffee with some small snacks. You have some shopping center nearby (5-7 min walk) with large supermarket and some cafe/restaurants - not "haute cuisine", but good option for simple dinner.

Our room was on the road side, so with open window it was a bit noisy. But it solved easy by just closing the window.

room was comfortable and clean. As we arrived late, the pool and bar were closed. Breakfast was very good with a plentiful selection.

The reception staff on our arrival were not particularly friendly unlike previous visits when the staff had been very friendly. When querying about using the pool in the morning we were told we would need to ask for robes in the morning which made it a non starter for us as we would have liked to swim before breakfast and did not want to dress to come down to reception to ask for robes. They could have given the robes to us that evening so we had them ready for the morning.

Very clean, modern property. Good-sized bathroom, smallish room. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Coffee and tea available in the lobby. We did not use the pool. Fitness centre had 3 pieces of equipment (no weights). Secure parking. Across the street from groceries, laundromat and petrol station. Easy access in and out of town.

We had a room on the ground floor and were able to unload our motorcycle luggage through the open window, but the two access doors on that side of the building are emergency exits only, so you have to walk all the way around to get into the hotel. Also, there appears to be a guest laundry room, but there is no guest laundry. Too bad as there are very few hotels that offer that much needed amenity. A long walk to historic centre, but there appeared to be quite a few business guests.

THEFront Desk staff were truly amazing, and very professional in their Manner. Our room was on the 2nd Floor, Room 201, in a very quiet area. The room was prepared very clean and as my wife has a disability, they provided a seat for her to use the walk In shower. We ate breakfast there, which was good value, considering the price paid. A good selection Continental style breakfast, which to me personally far better than eating away from the Hotel. Plenty of secure parking was available, and we could park very near to the Hotel entrance foyer. We used the pool, steam Room and Sauna on our second day, excellent facility, helped my wife to enjoy her stay by being able to have a swim. Adeline, the hotel manager, went out of her way to assist us in calling the local police, as we had a Rear End shunt, nearby, which damaged our vehicle. She explained to the police our situation, We ended up having to cancel the remainder of our holiday as our car was too badly damaged to continue our vacation in France and onwards to the Black Forest. Lastly the Front desk staff went above and beyond to care for my wife, they provided ICE refills for her, as and when she requested.

My wife found the pool a little cold for her, however there were many others using the pool and other facilities. There was complimentary coffee and tea available to use adjacent to the reception desk. However, it would have been nice to have this available in rooms. Its habitual for us to have a morning hot drink in a hotel room, prior to going to the breakfast area. I personally do understand hotel costings etc, so its not a critical issue. For non French guests it would be a beneficial point to make available some form restaurant information, etc, as not all guests can use Modern social media. I suppose again its down to production costings for such detail.

easy to find by car. easy secure parking. convenient for ferry port. The courtesy tea/coffee is a boon. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

A suggestion (definitely not a complaint): Perhaps the reception could display a printed information sheet for the No.2 bus to St Malo Intra Muros - perhaps a map showing location of bus stop nearest to hotel (it's in Rue de Antilles behind the Intermarche for St Malo, get off at Rue de Arabie coming back), and the bus frequency/timetable of the bus. (Or use the Park and Ride). Taxi costs about €20 one way

Nice breakfast area, big selection of breakfast types and good food. Nice swimming pool area and steam room, sauna. Plenty of length to do a decent swim in. Although I benefitted from it not being that busy. Might be a bit more of a struggle if more people were wanting to use it. Staff were very nice and helpful. Always a smile which is appreciated. Although the bedroom wasn't the biggest, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom area decently sized. Plenty of parking available and not too far from the town and shopping centres. Easy to get to and out of. 24 hour reception.

Tea/coffee facilities not available on the room., although available in the reception area Otherwise not much more to call out!

Stayed for 4 nights, it was very clean, with a great ample breakfast. The pool was wonderful, big enough to really swim and it actually felt clean. It was cleaned everday at midday. Great little Sauna and Hamman. Excellent system with towels & showers. Staff were lovely, laid back but very efficient and professional. It felt comfy and very functional.

The windows let in the light top corners and the rooms we were in were noisy in the morning and into the evening, from the roads and roundabout which we looked onto along with a bit if wasteland, some trees would transform the view.

I have stayed here before so knew what to expect. I was looking for somewhere slightly away from the trendy bits of St Malo where I would have free and secure parking (I had quite a lot of stuff with me in the car). The lovely reception staff let me speak my awful French without laughing (but I heard them speaking flawless English to other guests). There was beer on tap and a spa in which to relax if that takes your fancy. I availed myself of the former but eschewed the latter. A range of food was available to be eaten in your room or at the bar but I chose to walk across the road to McDonalds. They gave me a huge room - almost a suite - and I had a very comfy evening. I did not have breakfast in the morning because I wanted to get to the port in good time for my boat back to Blighty.

Nothing really. If you want restaurants and the sea-front this is not the place for you, but if like me you just want guaranteed cleanliness, comfort and security then it is perfect.
