Chateaux Lea Carrasses is a truly stunning building with very well maintained grounds. Set in beautiful vineyards it truly has a wow factor when approaching. The team were extremely helpful and polite,and made sure we felt comfortable and welcomed from the moment we arrived. A good location to explore the area - Minerve was particularly beautiful. Good selection of local restaurants - le Vauban and Porqois Pas were lovely.

The menu was a little limited and formal so we chose to dine in local restaurants.

I booked a three-bedroom villa with a private pool at Chateau les Carrasses through Booking.com as a treat for my family. I wanted them to have a restful stay together. It had been a while since we had seen each other, and I hoped to provide a comfortable space to relax and explore the Chateau and its surroundings. Finding the Chateau by car was easy, and Google Maps helped us get there without hassle. I arrived first with my sister in her car, and my niece and nephew were able to locate the Chateau quickly in their cars as well. The villa itself was exceptional. Although the villa's design was sleek and modern, it harmonized beautifully with its historical Chateau setting. The villa was immaculate, well-presented, and clean, particularly the bathrooms and kitchen. The kitchen was fully equipped and included everything needed for cleaning, as well as good laundry facilities (a washing machine, airer, ironing board, and iron). Each bedroom featured clean bedding, and there was a sofa bed, allowing everyone to have their own sleeping area. Even though the temperature outside was slightly cold (early March), the villa remained warm and inviting. While exploring the surrounding grounds of the Chateau, we discovered fantastic gardens. We spoke to the gardener, who tended to a substantial area dedicated to homegrown vegetables. There were also goats, chickens, and ducks. There is also a small play area for children. The staff were professional and kind, particularly Sophie, who handled a couple of our requests with immense patience and politeness. We plan to return to the Chateau, especially during the summer, to make the most of the pool and explore the other activities and amenities available. Even though our stay at the Chateau was short, our stay at the villa was comfortable, memorable, and the whole family enjoyed it.

This is a minor point, but if I booked the villa again, which I plan to do, I would double-check that the number of beds (including any sofa bed) is made up to the number of guests. The check-in time is 5 pm. Therefore, housekeeping may have departed by this time. This could be an issue if you arrive very late and are tired, there is a large party of people, and the number of beds (including the sofa bed) is not made up. Having said that, Sophie assisted in setting up the sofa bed promptly, and our family's happiness at the villa overrode this particular point.

The location is absolutely beautiful surrounded by vineyards. The Château itself has been restored and is presented absolutely beautifully.. the view from our room on the first floor was magnificent. It is a lovely spacious hotel and the gardens around it are superbly maintained. The room itself was exceptionally clean and extremely comfortable. The extras like a free bottle of wine from the vineyard and fresh water was much appreciated. We travelled with our two dogs and were treated very well. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay for two weeks or two nights. It’s an exceptionally great place! I met two of the receptionists and possibly the managers, and they are running it superbly well.

I don’t think there is anything I can complain about the hotel.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast spread was excellent and had many options to choose from. The property is very peaceful and serene.

The location is a bit off the beaten path and Google Maps takes you on some farm roads to get there (there is a better option). The upper floor rooms get a bit hot at times and some of the angles of the roof line in the rooms force you to have to watch your head.

Gorgeous Chateaux set in a tranquil oasis of vines. The rooms were large and well decorated and provided all of the facilities one might expect. The restaurants food was exquisite and reasonably priced, and the Domains wine was delicious. Very attentive staff.

We did have to wait quite a bit for our dinner starter but once we brought up the matter they made amends and the quality of the food made up for the rest.

Amazing stay at such a beautiful place with a warm team ! They have been so accommodating and treated us with the utmost care. The Villa was wonderful, the breakfast was excellent, the massage was heaven, and the surroundings are astonishing!

That’s only my personal taste but the dinner was too fancy for my taste. I would have love to explode my belly button with a burger or a pizza

This was our third visit to the chateau and we were back in our favourite room with balcony with amazing views. The bed is so comfortable and the room beautifully appointed. Pool is lovely. Wine and food delicious. Whole place is beautifully maintained. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff

Menu in the restaurant is a bit limited. Food really delicious though!

It is a very nice chateau, if you look for this experience, you are at the right place.

The breakfast was not great at the restaurant, especially that it is proudly displays the Gault Millau badge at the entrance. Maybe I was not sitting at the chef's table.

This is an fantastic place for a weekend getaway or a longer stay: beautiful building renovated with respect to its history yet modern design, picturesque territory, spacey rooms with almost all you may need for a comfortable stay. Great outdoors pool - I´m not a fan of the hotel pools normally, but this one is really worthy, plus amazing cocktails at the bar. Kitchen is well-equipped for basic cooking if you're not up to going to the restaurant. Though the place was fully booked, it was really calm and peaceful, very private. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would definitely come back.

We missed hooks and in general a place to hang our clothes. Fine for a two-night stay, but might be inconvenient if you come for longer, especially with kids. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite, one had a low-standing sort-of-a-hanger, another didn't at all (and no wall hooks either). Same about bedside tables: clothes on the bed and phone/glass of water on the floor...
