we stayed for 2 nights at Toison d'Or and absolutely loved it! The hotel is beautifully decorated, including the smallest details. The view from the room is sbsolutely breathtaking (we stayed in Sir Galahad's room): I don't think I've ever had such spectacular views from a hotel room. Hoever, the best part of our stay were the hosts: Xavier and Julie! We felt so incredibly welcome, and Julie makes delicious dinners. We also met a lot of other wonderful people from around the world. In short, our stay could not have been better and we recommend this place 100%. Definitely hoping to go back :)

Really fun, medieval-themed chambre d'hôte in a tiny village in the heart of the Pyrenees. Designed like a medieval castle, each room is named and decorated for a different knight of the round table. Meals are served with a set menu with all the guests sharing a big table, a great way to meet some fellow travelers. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The views down the valley are amazing!

The wi-fi was pretty slow, but that is to be expected in the mountains. Parking is just wherever you can find it in the village, but there is a small lot just a few steps down the hill near the ball court.

Excellent fresh breakfast. Wonderful evening meal at a good price. The hosts are fabulous . The building is a credit to the host owners. They have done a remarkable job of creating this very special accommodation which is quite unique. Looking through the dining hall windows and seeing Vultures soaring along the valley and over the mountains is wonderful. We will be back.

This was a very special place to stay. The view of the mountains is breathtaking from this place. But for us, the owners were the big surprise. We had such lovely talks in the evening and again in the morning. We were served such good food both in the evening and in the morning that we left, feeling like we had left friends.

There is nothing that could have been better

This place is amazing. The view from our bedroom window was captivating. It was hard to pull myself away. The room was equally amazing, high quality, and original with a very large and comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom with a welcoming shower. Julie, our host, looked after us like family. Feeding us fantastic food cooked just for us due to our late arrival. We spent a lovely evening chatting with her and another guest.

I was welcomed by the owners as a guest and friend. It was an honor to theme play as king and queen in this crazy looking house: decor is 100% medieval. The food was first rate, the view from the restaurant spectacular.

The place is very original and it is an amazing creation. We felt very welcome by Julie and Xavier. The food is excellent, the view from the bedroom awesome. We met very nice people from all over the world. We highly recommend this place.

This accommodation has the most spectacular views, our room was amazing and looked out to the breathtaking views.Very friendly hosts, that provided a wonderful breakfast and most delicious evening 3 course meal with wine. The accommodation is decorated with attention to detail, great experience and quaint little village in a Greta location. We very much enjoyed our two night stay

The breakfast was home made and exceptional. More food and a wide variety than a typical B&B breakfast. Location is great with an exceptional view of the Pyrennes
