Location was close to the Cave de St Charles where we had a wine tasting and to the restaurant we ate at that evening, Los Vergers de Papes The room was bright and clean and the hostess, Chantelle, very nice, welcoming. Lovely outdoor terrace area, with plenty of seating, overlooking a small park across the street.

Upstairs room in home of the extremely nice hostess Chantalle Need to walk through her living room to go up the stairs to the apartment. Very small kitchen area with college dorm-type refrigerator, but it is sufficient. Bathroom sinks in the bedroom.

In a word….’superb’…Chantal was the perfect host, friendly, welcoming to her truly lovely house in the perfect location in the village of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, right in the shadow of the chateau ruins. A wonderful breakfast helped finish off what was a fantastic experience in this gem of a cottage in a wonderful village.

Chantal our host was very helpful in carrying our excess luggage into the apartment and storing it in her place. Every morning she also prepared for us a nice breakfast with a very personal touch.

Everything was perfect for our overnight stop. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful, with excellent suggestions for meal and wine testing. We will hoefullly return.

safe bicycle storage great location Chantelle is gracious and welcoming. The room has aircon, is spacious and there is an attached dining area with mini fridge, coffee maker & kettle with teas. it is set up for enjoying a bottle of wine in the room or on the comfy terrace (if not too hot). 7€ breakfast is simple with a big pot of coffee, juice, homemade jam, little croissants & chocolatines & bread.

A cozy second floor apartment (reached by stairs) very comfortable for a one-night or for a weekend stay. In the city center. The owner is very friendly!

Lack of a hair dryer available in the room. But I did not ask for one.

Chantal is a very charming host. The apartment is ideally located in the centre of Chateauneuf du Pape. Everything was perfect.

Breakfast was supurb, she does something out of it. Perfect accomodation in a perfect surrounding in a perfect little village with perfect wine. From all the places I have been at in Europe, is this one positively unique.
